    Why do you think you got banned?: I have another account i tried to log in after a few years of not playing and i got that same message, the username was censored and i had a beginner character that to store items and such, I was also presumably hacked in 2021 and made a post about it which can be found here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/all-of-my-equipped-items-gone.208566/#post-1238783

    Your case has been pretty unique and something other Staff and myself have not seen before, so unfortunately you will have to wait for our Admins to check some things once they are available to do so. :(

    It is in relation to your hacked items you were selling in your merchant store.

    I see, I wanted to show off my super rare items and hoped someone would be kind enough to help me get back on my feet and buy some of them off of me :x
    Speaking of which like I mentioned in the original post I have two accounts with this problem but I just can't remember the ingame name, just the username.

    That is also why we are still currently discussing your case as well, the way you were advertising your hacked/error 0 stat items... ^_^' it's an ongoing discussion and we have requested the Admins to check in with it ASAP as this is a case nobody on Staff has had experience with. So I do apologize for the wait, and please sit tight while we're working on it. :)

    Hello,

    Your account was banned because there are illegitimate items on it that need to be removed from the game. This can only be done by the Admins during a Server Check. The ban comes from this section of the Maple Royals Terms and Conditions:

    Duping - The act of exploiting any sort of glitch, unintended feature, flaw in game design, or using third party programs, with the intent to duplicate items or mesos, including knowingly possessing or requesting illegitimate items or mesos.

    Duping - It is possible to envision scenarios in which unpredictable server malfunction or otherwise unknown server glitch/error may cause items or mesos to be duplicated in a player's inventory. In this scenario, a Game Master or other member of Staff must be contacted immediately to correct the issue - failure to do so will be considered knowingly utilizing a flawed game scenario to duplicate items, and would therefore result in a permanent ban.

    Normally, possessing illegitimate items on one's account would lead to a permanent ban. However, since your account was hacked, and you did not create those items yourself, the Staff has decided not to issue a permanent ban. However, we will be issuing you a temporary ban, because you attempted to make a profit off those illegitimate items by selling them in your store. The ban will be for 14 days.

    If the Server Check happens before your ban expires, you will still have to wait for the duration to play again.

    Thank you replying. Does the ban countdown start from today or from the day I made this post? and does this mean both of my accounts will get unbanned in two weeks time since I have two banned accounts?
    Furthermore, there was no duping involved, the items that were found bugged in my inventory are items that I had left untouched during the time I didn't play the game, its just that their stats have been changed to zero due to getting hacked last year, basically rendering all the items in my equips tab useless so why is selling them an issue? What is anyone going to do with a worthless hat that doesn't give you anything or a dagger that does 1 damage due to not having any weapon attack on it?

    I also went over your terms and conditions again and didn't find anything that I have done wrong, and on top of that before getting banned a GM responded to me on the forums about these items and didn't say anything in particular about them besides not being able to refund them, so I assumed it was okay to trade them with other people or sell them and like the description regarding duping you pasted I did contact a game master regarding this issue, despite it not being duplicated items like I already mentioned, so since the issue was reported, why was I banned? there was no act of exploiting an unintented feature with the intent of duplicating mesos because the items are ones I had in my inventory already, just with null stats.

    Please reconsider :karven:

    Hello, we have removed the stat-less items from your inventory and I have unbanned all of your accounts. Please let us know if you notice another stat-less item in your inventory. We will also refund you the items that were removed (if you are free now, I can refund you now). With that being said, you should be able to connect now.     Thank you very much for being thoughtful and deciding to unban me, and I am indeed free right now :)
    Also, I noticed that my other account is still banned(not my main account) could you please look into it? Like I said in the original post I can't remember the name of the ingame character but I know the username/password.
