hey i saw item on someone shop that super rare with crazy states and he sell it for 2.47..(u know..the max money to the last meso) doest it mean that its just for showing it off ?
Yes but he could have also put in his shop title 'L/O' which means he will read the chat inside the shop and look for offers. Let's pretend someone put in a perfect level 100 bow for max meso in his shop, that person would either be showing it off or taking offers, no one would sell a perfect level 100 bow for max mesos after all. That's just silly.
The reason they put it in for the highest amount is because if the player has any mesos on them or in frederick, the item can't be bought at all- so yes- like Gert said, they're either just showing off or want people to offer for it and it's way to advertise.
Because that's not a player permit store. The money from permit stores goes directly to the players which can only have 2.147b at a time whereas this goes straight to Fredrick.
I don't understand how this works. So player permit stores are those they open and afk? So if you want to price at 2.1b you cannot use the stores that you can go offline and allow people to leave offers. Am I correct to say that?
Wrong. The maximum amount of mesos is 2147483647. (2^31 - 1). If I open a store with a permit, the maximum amount of mesos I can hold is still 2147483647. If I had 1,000,000 mesos then the maximum amount of mesos I can earn is 2146483647 which would put me at max mesos. If I open a store with a permit, the maximum amount of mesos the store can hold 2147483647. I put two items in the store. The first item is 1m. The second item is 2147483647 mesos. If someone buys the first item, the store will hold ~1m after taxes. Then, if someone tries to buy the second item for max mesos, it won't work because the store cannot hold more than 2147483647 mesos. Basically, a character and a merchant can hold up to 2147483647. Any purchase that would put the amount of mesos stored by either above 2147483647 will not work. Also be careful about taxes. If your merchant holds like 1 mesos and you put an item for 2147483647 mesos, it'll probably go through due to taxes on the 2147483647 mesos.
Ah, so the reason the bow sold was because he didnt sell the kraven high enough to account for the taxes right?
I'm so sorry for your loss, if it was me I would have given it back to you for the return of the meso lol
Money made off misfortune is just blood money to me tbh. Was burned too many times in my youth on maplestory for not being careful.
