HELLO EVERYONE! I recently put up a guide with a Monster Card Spreadsheet used from Excel Spreadsheet and put into a google drive to be downloaded from people on Forums. I have been asked multiple times in game how to embed that spreadsheet into a forums post. I'm going to explain step by step in hopes it helps at least one person accomplish something. I haven't seen anyone post a guide relating to this, however, if there was. I apologize, and I hope this can help someone nonetheless. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 1: Of course you need an Excel Spreadsheet in order to implement it in google drive. Whatever you would like to create for a guide, whether it be a calculator of some sort, or an organizational guide to assist you with in game tasks. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 2: Open up Google Drive. You can find Google Drive by simply typing Google Drive in on Google, or go to - https://www.google.com/drive/ __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 3: Once you have gotten to the website, you will be prompted to click on personal or business on the main screen. Underneath Personal there will be an option in blue you can click on that says, "Go to Google Drive" Click on this. The first 3 steps as labeled above are essentially non explanatory. The following steps are what determine if you can upload or not. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 4: Getting to this step is where you have two options. If you have a google account, things are straightforward and much easier to explain. If you do not have a Google account, you will be prompted to create one. Here's what both options would look like. If you have a Google account, your option would like like this. If you do not have a Google account, your option will look like this. Once you create a Google account, you will be prompted with the option above. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 5: After you have gotten to the portion where in step 4 it states you have a Google account, you should have two options on your right hand side. At the top of your screen you should see something that states "Google Drive" with a drop down arrow. Slightly underneath that you should see Quick Access. Slightly underneath Quick Access you should see Folders. Then lastly, underneath Folders you should see Files. Simply drag your Excel Spreadsheet that you want to embed into the Files section. Dragging your Excel Spreadsheet to the Files section should create a slight blue border, and you will get a prompt that says. "Drop files to instantly upload them to Google Drive". It should look something like this, __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 6: This step is very simple, you just open up your Excel Spreadsheet in Google Drive. Once your Excel Spreadsheet have been brought over to Google Drive you should see something like this, simply click on it. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 7: Once you have clicked on that, your Excel Spreadsheet should open up in Google Drive. At the top of your page you will something like this, simply click it. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Step 8: Once you have clicked on, "Open with Google Sheets" your document should now be open completely in Google Drive. In the top right hand corner of your screen, you should see a big green box that says share. Click on this. Once you click that, you will be greeted with a small pop-up. It will look something like this. In the upper right hand corner of that pop-up you want to click on, "Get shareable link". Clicking on this copies the link for you to your clipboard. All you need to do now is copy and past it to your forums post, and you are ready to go. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
