In light of all the trouble Shadowers have been running into, I would actually like to seek clarifications (as a Shadowers myself) on a certain skill combination as to whether it is an intended feature, or an overlook and hence, a game bug. With the new improvements to the skill Assassinate, more Shadowers have been turning to it as a DPS option. However, it has also come to my attention that if we chain the following skills in this order (using the in-game macro): Dark Sight > Boomerang Step > Assassinate It actually performs as intended (even if the last Assassinate is omitted, you'll perform Boomerang step but you'll stay in Dark Sight). I am curious to know if it’s considered an in-game feature or a bug since Boomerang Step don’t normally follow after Dark Sight. I hope to receive a response soon, as I personally feel threatened when playing my Shadowers with so much uncertainty as to what is considered an (in)appropriate play style for Shadowers. Edit: There’s another post regarding this, but there’s no admin clarification regarding it: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/dark-sight-casting.123142/ From what I understand here, there is a slight delay for Dark Sight to be registered, allowing a brief moment of activity prior to the application of Dark Sight. This essentially allows any skill to be performed right after dark sight if it is chained in the in-game macro. Thank you.
You should be okay to use it since it doesn't seem to happen normally, might just be some latency. Just be careful since you still can't use potions in dark sight.
Thank you very much for the response regarding this matter. However, I don't think I can change the prefix for this thread. Nonetheless, I appreciate the effort to look into it and I can finally play my Shadower confidently enough.
