So I went on to the MR site right now and was shocked that there were 400+ people online. I began playing during December and at most ever saw 330ish people online, even on weekends. So this was surprising to me, considering that most people have school/work right now and aren't on break; makes me want to come back. What has changed that caused so many people to play on MR?
A lot of updates lately that makes the overall server more stable, thus people can enjoy the server more.
Increased server stability means people who AFK can stay on longer without crashing, leading to higher online numbers. The increased stability has definitely also contributed to some players that had quit coming back though.
Also a certain other server being forced to wipe a few times has probably brough some of those players back.
