    Hello,

As a current Maple Royals player, I have always enjoyed this server. The players are friendly, helpful while the experience and drop rates are not overwhelming balances out the gameplay.

I have also enjoyed many events hosted by this server's hardworking GMs. However, this evening when GM Giceratops hosted the Creepy event, I was disappointed for the lack of instructions and professionalism.

NOTE: Neither am I asking for GM Giceratops to be removed or suspended. This is just a feedback.

While I understand all of the GMs in this server work really hard to provide the already awesome gameplay, hosting an event should be handled more professionally and in a fun manner.

What happened was a bunch of maplers were warped into the Creepy's Jump Quest event map and were too excited; so most of us jumped around. Of course, this would be disadvantageous to other players. So, GM Giceratops told us to "STAY DOWN". While I understand what GM Giceratops was trying to do, I believe the wording here could be used in a better manner. Naturally, GM Giceratops stunned the players around to end the problem as well as to disable the chat.

Now, at this point, GM Giceratops made it clear: "STAY DOWN [or KICK]". I have been on the ground all the time. However, GM Giceratops set a timer of 20 seconds (?), and most players were hinted that this was a start timer. Just as natural as the GM's actions were, we jumped at 0:00. To our disappointment, this turns out to be "I TOLD YOU TO STAY DOWN" moments.

A few of us were kicked out of the event map: confused.

We then appealed this problem through Super Megaphones and it does not seem like GM Giceratops was willing to admit fault or readdress his action. This left many of us angered while also disappointed.

ATTACHMENT: I don't think I am allowed to attach any pictures. But for the legitimacy of this matter, I have pictures to prove the chat history after being kicked out of the event map. You may email me for the evidences.

I hope this matter would be solved in the tiniest time and I hope that the GMs will continue to work hard.

Also, a shout out to you all for working on a server that has not been BIG-BANGed while keeping the authenticity of the gameplay.

    Thank you.

You don't need to attach screenshots, as this is pretty accurate on what happened. Myself being new on hosting events I will take this feedback into consideration next event!

I'm sorry you were kicked, as in my opinion I thought it would be clear to be down when the timer reached 0:00. As I did not give instructions as how the event works. However, ever reading your thread, I do admit it may have been a bit misleading.

Thank you for your time into writing this!

This is what GM's are supposed to do though. To keep the players under control. If he told everyone to stay down and stop jumping, people should listen. Especially after a timer goes down to 0 seconds people shouldn't still be jumping around after Gi clearly said to stop. Just my thoughts and opinions :)

It may be worth mentioning that Gi is a developer, not a GM. His primary task is not hosting events, and he probably has less experience in hosting events than most other GMs. That's why it's good you posted this: it's never too late to learn, and now Gi can improve his way of hosting events with your feedback. :)
