For this reason there is now an [anchor] tag which you may use to create so-called named anchors. Allow me to explain: Suppose I have had you read this far, but for some reason think you might want to return to the beginning of this explanation. We have the technology to do that now! By simply inserting the following BBCode in the vicinity of my explanation, I can create links that move the reader directly to that place. Code: [anchor]anchor_name[/anchor] Note that, for purposes of browser compatibility, the anchor name should begin with a letter. I need then only add #anchor_name to the end of the link to this page of the thread, like so: http://royals.ms/forum/threads/introducing-the-anchor-tag.13783/#anchor_name In the case of my explanation, the anchor name is explanation, meaning the link is the following: http://royals.ms/forum/threads/introducing-the-anchor-tag.13783/#explanation This means that you may now attach an anchor to the beginning of each of your guide sections and link to them accordingly in your tables of contents!
