MapleRoyals was running extremely well for the past half a year, however yesterday, at the login screen, there was a problem. After typing the username and password and pressed "Enter" / clicked "Login", the screen just stays at it is. Nope, it didn't freeze. It didn't advance to the channel selection screen either. The "Maplestory sunlight" that shone on the homepage kept moving, and buttons lighted up as usual when we hovered on it. So basically it didn't freeze. In short, nothing happened after clicking "Login". Searching the web didn't prove useful. People have had this problem before but there wasn't any solutions. Tried entering 4 more accounts and same thing happened. (Me and my brother's) Redownloaded MapleRoyals but same thing happened. No new applications were downloaded or new processes were initiated before the incident. Thankfully, because of secretly playing Maplestory in college, where "games are banned", I was presented with the same situation in college, before my friend asked me to try and log on with a strong VPN gate. She said that this is due to your IP address being blocked in the game / college server. So we had to mask our IP. And it worked. So I tried the same thing for this, and by using the strong VPN (weak VPN wouldn't do), we could successfully log on to MapleRoyals. Which leads to this question & confirmation: Is our IP address somehow blocked? Other sites and games have been running smoothly, except MapleRoyals.
