Me & Tentomon have proposed an experiment to try out a temporary unofficial chat service for MapleRoyals and to give us feedback on it. It's a good idea to try this chat out as it'll always be up even if the website + servers are down. Connecting to the IRC server and chatroom: Step 1. Click this link: http://www.rizon.net/chat Step 2. Put a nickname in (Can be anything), Leave the password bit blank if you're not already registered to rizon.net and join the chatroom #MapleRoyals Congratulations you've just made it into the chatroom for this server! This is the bare basics of IRC and one of the many ways of connecting to IRC. You can also use userbased clients such as mIRC, chatzilla, kvirc etc. Or You can use other webbased clients such as Mibbit (Only one that I know of next to the rizon.net/chat one) It is also accessible from phones, for android you can get Androirc and for IOS you can get colloquy (Or any free IRC app). P.S An additional thing if you want you could register your nick by typing /ns register <password> <email> This is to ensure the security of your nick. You can also group other nicks to your current registered one by typing /ns group <nick> <password> This can be used if you decide to make a new character in-game and so you can group it in chat.
