level 34 spearman here. 4 base INT, 50 total INT with equips. I've been consistently gaining 8-9 mp on levelup and now have about 40 extra MP as compared to a normal warrior with 4 INT. I pumped some AP into HP, and used AP reset scroll to try to pull points out of MP and put back into STR. However, the option to reduce MP is greyed out and it won't let me. Is the HP/MP system different here than the Nexon server?
The reason why you've got problems HP-washing is that second job advancement for warriors is bugged. Basically, all three warrior job classes get the fighter stat boost (300-ish HP, 0 MP) when they advance to second job. For warrior HP-washing, a Basilmarket guide gives the following formulas for the minimum MP needed to be able to HP-wash: Fighters: MP = (Level x 4) +56 Pages: MP = (Level x 4) +56 Spearmen: MP = (Level x 4) +156 In other words: Fighters on this server are able to HP-wash normally, as they're not affected by the bug; Pages aren't able to use the MP bonus from second job advance for washing, but they should be able to HP-wash all their additional MP from Int; and Spearmen aren't able to start HP-washing until they've gained enough additional MP from Int to make up for losing out on the second job MP boost they should have had. So yeah... until this bug is fixed, Spearmen are at a bit of a disadvantage in terms of HP-washing. =(
Thanks for the explanation. That sux though, I need to make up an extra 100 mp before I can start washing? That's a lot!! That's like 25 levels worth of extra INT-derived mp. Also even if they patch this bug I suppose I'm out of luck since I've already made my job advancement....
