I've noticed that people sell them stacked in shops, and that you can stack them using the storage. But is this glitch abuse -- getting around the constraint of only being allowed to carry one of each at a time?
Never knew its possible, i personally had many in my mules since 2016 (i didn't participate 2017 event though so idk what was there) felt kinda lucky to have some leftovers prob not.
Used to not be a constraint I believe, so they probably just have food saved up since last christmas event.
It is technically glitch abuse, because one-of-a-kind items should, by definition, only be allowed one instance in inventories which is being circumvented via player storages. An exception was agreed to as not only do many players have these stacks, accidental or not, it has taken some time to fix let alone clarify this was not going to be allowed while other issues were being attended to. No bans will be handled out, and stacks of foods will be deleted from storages during a server check. Thanks for your concern!
