If by "sniping" you mean killing monsters outside their attack range: Arrow Rain/Eruption can hit both the top and bottom of Ghost Ship maps if you stand on the stairway. You can snipe 1 Jr. Newtie in the central part of Destroyed Dragon Nest. You can attack 2 of them if you're OK with getting hit for like 1.5k-ish. (Marksmen with lv1 Frostprey can snipe 2 newties without ever getting hit. Ranger's golden eagle can be used for a chance to stun, but won't protect you 100%.) There are ledges at the bottom of wolf spider cavern, accessible with jump-down, where you can arrow rain the spiders without taking damage. (The rest of the map is not very archer-friendly, though.) The Magatia maps with roid/neo huroid are also good for training with arrow rain. Massive crowds of mobs and they can barely hurt you. Galloperas can be puppeted and taken out with very little potion burn. Lure them all to one side, place your puppet somewhere they can't reach, and fire away. Power knockback is a great skill that allows you to train in maps that are not considered archer-friendly, like Forest of Golem. Assign that skill somewhere you can comfortably reach.
That's good advice for when I'm third job, but I meant more as second job (hunter in this case) and to an extent archer. I've kind of decided to just grind at wild boars til 30 at this point so that I can get that maple bow that they drop, but I'm not actually sniping them as much as I'm just timing my attack based on their attack pattern incredibly carefully...if there's a sniping spot in Victoria Island then that would be amazing. I've actually considered maxing power knockback before or around the same time as arrow bomb to help prevent me from smacking stuff with my bow as a hunter before reading this. In fact I was kinda wondering why the two guides in this forum for bowmaster say to put points into power knockback a bit later in their SP build for hunters.
1-35 Genins. 35-50 Master Chronos or Wraiths. 50-70 Pythons, hoodoo/voodoo, straw target dummy, MP3, Captain/Kru, Saities. 70-80 Homonculues, Wolf Spiders, Mp3. 80+ Jr.newties or anywhere else there's so many good spots once you're 70+. use this: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/2022-leveling-guide.157840/ Convince people in toxic af CPQ 1 & 2 that party training is faster. only class cpq is great is warriors/bucc and I/L at cpq2. everyone else should be party grinding. On my Xbowman i went 60-70 in ~2 hours @ saities and mp3 with a group of clerics. Party exp buff is nuts.
(checks out Genins) More exp than but less hp than evil eye? Heck yes! I've never even heard of these guys as an option. I guess whenever I glanced at this leveling guide (I even have it bookmarked) I just saw their picture without ever reading their name. I THINK I might possibly remember how to get to Ninja Castle? Take a world tour to something like the Mushroom Shrine or Japan or whatever and then talk to an npc on the map you're teleported to...? (shrugs) I was right and I'm at the map right now!
yea pretty much all the ninja castle mobs are the best exp/hp ratio in-game. once you get to Nintos they have the best hp/exp ratio from all lvl 100+ mobs, but they're immune to elements other than lightning so only non-mage classes can train there.
Monkey Forest II is an amazing map for hunters. You hit 3 platforms at once with arrow bomb from snipe spot. Very fast exp there. around 35-45ish.
