I was fighting a bigfoot and a lvl 200 night lord came and attacked it. I tried to tell him plz don't and then I died while I was typing and then he killed my bigfoot. So he costed me like 30% exp.... Why would someone do this if they are lvl 200 they don't need exp anyway?!
Yes, if you had map ownership then what the player did would be against the rules. You may refer to the Game Terms & Conditions for detailed information, and you may also refer to the Reporting Guidelines for additional assistance should you choose to submit a report for the player's behavior.
What he did was a dick move. you also lose map ownership if you die, so be careful when trying to gather evidence!
Does that only happen to bigfoot and other area bosses? I tested at other maps and my map ownership still remained even thought I died. If you attack a monster, you would get a map ownership. You don't have to kill it. I'm trying to recall my memory when I was at big foot. I think when I only attacked big foot the whole time, I would lose the map ownership?(I'm not sure)
I could be wrong. I remember that I lost my ownership when I died (from meso bomb big foot at lv75, you know the pain)
Mapownership remains for 3min after one dies and leaves the map. I once found a pianus with 2/3 HP left with no1 around, checked mapowner, and saw that he was returning to the cave. We ended up teaming up to kill the pianus and splitting the profits
Damn... so if someone knocks bigfoot into you to kill you they can just take your boss? That seems unfair =/
As long as you attack monster. I think you still have the map ownership even if you die. Just run it back as fast as possible. If someone attack the boss when you have map ownership, prepare to screenshot or record and ask him to leave. If he still attack it, you can report him on the forum with the screenshot or record(including map ownership and server time!) “It often happened to me when I didn’t know how to get back to the Bigfoot map in 3 minutes after I die.”
