First, this is purely hypothetical, I haven't done it nor do I plan on doing it. I was just meming about it until I realized that it's actually a bit unclear for me. Let's say, I don't know, I'm having trouble with my calculus homework, or I have an exam the next day. Or let's say I need someone to lecture me about something, or even more extreme, let's say I need a therapist; anything in which someone could provide me with help (or services, technically) online, in which the benefits are intangible, and are purely for knowledge. Let's say I do find a therapist, or tutor, or lecturer, etc. Would giving them leech for an hour while they, over discord, lecture me/therapist me be against the ToS? Here's what it says: Because there is no real world currency or barter being traded, and because these things could simply be considered favors (I'll give you leech for free if you tutor me in calculus), is this against the ToS?
That's really not a good question to begin with. When you do something in real world, time passes. In fact, you cannot do anything without time not passing. Time is relative, and you have no control over it (but let me know if you figure out a machine for that. I wanna experience Rick and Morty!) In the case of your (flawed) question, you spent your leech selling leech in-game, and get mesos (from the game) in return. So that's perfectly fine. Tl;dr: We are not concern about time being the factor, we are concern about what you do with your time, and in exchange for what. To make it more explicitly: - You can spend your time selling leech and earning mesos/NX, that's fine. - You can spend your time merching, it's fine. - You can spend your time helping out people with their work, that's fine. BUT, once the person pays you in-game materials for services/items that are NOT part of the game (i.e. doing homework, vetting your research paper, etc, in return for mesos/NX/leech), then that's illegal. Another Tl;dr: Keep the services-goods exchange within the game and only to in-game materials. As long as one aspect involves outside of the game, that's when trouble might start.
