Greetings and salutations, fellow RoyalMaplers! So, pretty much the title says it all. I've been a Mapler since the beginning of the game's release to global. Like so many others, I very much enjoyed the older versions of MS. I heard some rumors floating around my old MS circles and returned from a long break to see what this newfangled Reboot business was all about. Supposedly it was to be the best thing since sliced bread. It was an exciting prospect, and they had me for a bit. It turned out, at least in my opinion, to just be a bunch of hype. My desire for that new concept just died off, but the itch to play this classic game still remained. That's when I went to searching. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and Reboot was close but no cigar. However, this place looked very appealing on the surface, and what I unveiled as I began to play this MapleRoyals had me grinning and thinking like I was that young boy playing MS for the first time again. Know the feeling? I've been playing for about a week now and getting a feel for this server. Suffice to say I really like it and enjoy the nostalgic 2008ish style of play quite a lot. I always thought that was when MS was in its prime. Seeing and walking about the old familiar maps that had since vanished from the dreaded "Big Bang" almost had me in tears. A huge thank you goes out to the ones who keep this place up and running! Now I feel all that's left is to mingle with the community more. I've made a few in-game buddies and they've been very friendly and helpful. But I would love to meet more good folks who are as passionate about this game as I am. Hi KevKev, I too had tried Reboot and decided MapleStory just isn't my cup of tea anymore. Glad you're enjoying your time here. Still there's a couple things I'd love to see removed from MapleRoyals but it's pretty near perfect for me
