Spoiler: Don't Hey everyone, for those who may or may not know me, I'm Sean, dubious dubbed Sena thanks to a certain person mistyping my name... Spoiler I started this server back in feb 2015 on my very first character, Valentica which is now today a hero and a gach mule. One of the main reasons I guess I could remain funded was definitely due to the CNY event and the dropping of red packets. I first joined with a bunch of irl friends who I used to play Dota with.... We found ourselves having great fun reliving such a nostalgic period of our lives. I eventually found myself in the guild home, and let's face it I've arguably found the best people that I met to just faff around and have fun. I soon realised that I stayed not for the nostalgia, but for the community and fun times that friendships made. And so the grind was on. Either way, I was waiting for my enlistment into Nation Service so I had some time to kill. Nothing wrong with that. Along the way, I made my Marksman Acoustics (formerly named Melanchorus) which was washed ever so half-assed cause the hp requirement for HT back then was 5.6k. I eventually soft quit in October 2015 as that was the time I was enlisting and played on and off during 2016, and took an even longer break in 2017 when new source hit. Fastforward to August 2017, I was done with national service and was back to fulltime studies. I came back to royals and it was in a much better and playable state than it was back in Jan 2017. This time with some old friends from home, I joined Drama. It was a shortlived reunion though as the guild eventually died, and I had a short stay in Heroes which... Unfortunately died too. During this phase in early 2018, I found a nice bunch of people from Villains, and the grind was back, and it was real. Most of them were from Singapore too and I will say I'm just so grateful to meet all of them. Unfortunately by mid 2018, Villains was starting to dwindle as well as people started to move on from the Game. I found myself short of 12 or so levels to 200 which I'd be so determined to reach. Summer 2018, I joined Mushi and these bunch were the most fun and chill people to hand around and fm hoe around with. And then... I found myself applying to "guild". Damn I had NO idea, just the amount of controversy I'd gotten myself in. RWT, Bitter rivalries (which still exist), you name it all. But I had people to boss with. It was a mixed bag really, but I can say there are genuine people there and yes even more friendships were formed. And in August 2018... I had finally hit level 200 on my Marksman.... We fastforward to today, guild disbanded and rogue was reformed with it's new leader. I still hung around and made a new NL but I could not help feel that something was amiss... I'm not saying royals lost its spark and charm, cause to be VERY honest it is the community which really keeps it together. I doubt anyone would stay for solo story. It has however dawned upon me that I'm going to enter a very transitional phase of life soon and I really can't afford to chase after an endless race in this game anymore. This is also why, on 21st Jan 2019, I've decided to stop playing. I've decided that I've had enough in this wonderful journey, but as the saying goes, all good things come to an end. The gameplay might end but it is my wish to retain the good memories and friendships in this server. So First, thank you for the wonderful server hosted by you, @Matt. I've seen so many GM's come and go due to the way the server has been managed or run, but at the end of the day it's your server and yes, you do what's best for it. From being one of the pioneer Marksman to get em buffed, to ridiculous HT preheads spawning at the singup area, I have treasured every single moment in this game. Peace friends. Goodbye Sena. I'll miss you a lot. We met/bonded over a ridiculous situation but I'm glad I met her I guess then haha. It's gonna get lonely without you. I was jealous of you when you joined Guild cause I was the only MM in it and the masked Home sniper himself was too cool compared to me. A bit sad I never got to boss with you since we both played MM at the time ahah. All the old boys quitting and playing less, makes me regret taking such a long break and contributing to the problem. Goodbye Sean, thanks for your friendship. All the great times we had in Mushi together then Guild / Rogue, you have always been one of my close true friends. I really appreciate that bond.
