    Hello everyone,

I personally love doing jump quests, but most of them are unavailable for the players (for example: chimney, fitness, toy factory, etc). Also, once you do the second and third sleepywood/ellinia jump quest, the previous one(s) become unavailable.

For that reason, I think it would be nice if an NPC could be added in that can teleport players to various jump quests. (I can provide a full list of all Maplestory Jump Quest maps if this suggestion is taken into consideration)

For me (and I'm sure some other players would think this aswell), this could provide a fun way to pass the time when I need/want to take a break from grinding.

Also, if this NPC is added in, people can practice certain Jump Quests to improve their chances of winning an event. And more competitive events are always nice.

Of course, certain jump quests give a reward at the end (in general a few ores), but it might be possible to take those out? (I'm not sure if that is possible, but I think it is)

Anyways, feedback on this will be very much appreciated.

This could be fun and I don't really see a downside to implementing this. The community/forum can also add a fastest speed ranking for a prize much like the Maple Island running.

On the other hand, this might give some unfair advantage to those who do the Jump Quest GM Event often, but what's stopping them from going to that specific location and practicing there themselves. The new Jump Quest NPC just streamlines that process.

I think this is a great idea. I love doing jq and i think it would be a fun way to pass the time. I also like the idea of a fastest speed ranking!

I dont think this will give any advantages to people in jq events. At this moment there are people who know the jqs well and go through them in a few minutes while others have never seen them or have only done them once or twice and have alot of trouble so they have no chance of winning.

Oops I misunderstood when I voted, I thought it was like a warper to the end. I agree this would be cool.

Got the Yes Vote from me.

Personally I love Jump Quests and it's a great way to break up tedious tasks like grinding!

Oh one more thing: I would'nt add the zakum JQ to the warper (if it gets added). Otherwise people will start using the warper to avoud having to walk to the door to zakum.

Not sure if I understand fully, but it's already possible to teleport to the door via Mystic Door.

First of all, sounds like a good idea to me; I personally like JQing (I hate grinding with a passion so I turn to JQing instead), and the rankings would be nice to have. Finally rankings where the highest level and most funded people aren't always at the top... (Looking at you, Mike, you big show-off <3). These rankings would also encourage more "training" for GM-hosted JQs > more competitive events (as has been mentioned).

As for taking out the reward at the end; why would you? You finished the JQ, which is enough of a hassle to get a couple ores in return. I don't see the problem.

Depending on where the warp NPC would be placed, people wouldn't even have to go to el nath (for the mystic door) anymore.

I would imagine that rather than putting you in front of the door to zakum, this NPC would put you right into the jump quest, and then when you quit the JQ you would end up back in front of the NPC. No talking to adobis, no being in dead mine at all.

They would have to recode the NPC in the beginning.

Could a staff member maybe give his/her opinion on this?

Me personally, I don't see the point of an NPC to warp people to jump quest maps. The whole purpose of JQ events is it is something different from the norm, and not something everyone has access to. If you want to take a break from grinding, there are plenty of other activities such as talking with friends in FM, doing random quests, etc. to pass the time as well.

I am however, curious as to what other staff members may think as well.

I think it's a pretty neat idea, and I'm someone who cant -stand- jump quests.
The way I see it is too, Some people aren't able to make the JQ events, or participate- either they dont know the map well, the amount of people makes it too hard, or they d/c. Sometimes timezones make it so they can't.
This would give them a chance to do the JQ on their own time, or race their friends if they wanted to, etc. I assume it'd work kind of like Gaga was intended to- the NPC would just take you directly to the JQ map, and exiting would take you back to where you came from. Coding wise, I have NO clue how it would work as I'm afraid I have no idea how to code.
of course, some JQs are accessible by just going to the map and doing it (such as the zak JQ, or the lost coin one for Shumi), but others aren't after you complete the quest already such as Sleepywood. This would give others the chance to do those JQs again for fun, I think.

I've love JQing from the moment I started playing MS so I support this 100%. I've had a few friendly races with friends through some of the JQs and it was 10,000% more entertaining than training when I was sick of it. I can't just sit and talk to people so this would give me something fun to do when I don't feel like grinding :D ~ Especially with the suggested speed rankings.

I don't even join JQ events anymore. It's impossible (for me at least, I might just be bad) to try a JQ where I can't even see the platforms due to the volume of people. I wouldn't even know where to jump. If I could be able to practice, and actually see the platforms I dare say I could actually stand a chance in these events. Maybe only allow access to the event-exclusive ones?

Naw, Julian the point of it would be for people to have access to the JQs as a whole for fun, not necessarily event specific ones so they can practice. The fact that some events are JQs is just a side factor imo.
