Hi guys, so I'm currently planning on making a 10.7k HP BM at lvl 135 (11.5k naturally by lvl 175). I can leech myself to 135 but the problem is that I don't exactly know how to get to that HP goal. I've done some rough calculations based on my limited understanding, thanks to the guides available here in this forum.

    These are my calculations:

    Min MP (135): 2038

    Min HP (135): 3078

    HP Goal: 10700

    10700-3078 = 7622 HP to be gained

    7622/18= 424 washes (average)

    424*12= 5088 extra mp needed

    5088+2038= 7126 mp by 135

My current stats at lvl 50 are:

    HP: 1603

    MP: 1798

INT: 237 base (370 with int from eqs and mw20)

    DEX: 25

So, with that out of the way, my questions are, how exactly do I achieve my HP goal, minimising the total costs? I'm a bit clueless at the moment :xD: Is there anything wrong with my calculations or have I missed anything? Any guidance is deeply appreciated.

It's been a while since I washed my BM but I'll comment on a couple of things that stand out to me:

You might be over-projecting the amount of washes needed to reach your HP goal. 3078 is the bare minimum HP at level 135—you should actually have more HP thanks to job advancements. In other words, you probably need less than 424 washes. But it's not a big deal if you wash 424 times; extra HP/MP is a nice bonus.

I recommend looking into MP washing. In a nutshell, you add an AP into MP, then reset from MP to a primary stat (STR/DEX). Assuming 237 base INT, each MP wash will give you another 23 MP. The clear benefit is that you can reach your 7126 MP goal without adding more base INT.

    Some quick math:
Assuming you have 370 total INT, you'll gain 37 extra MP per level up. By 135 you should have at least 4943 MP (1798 + 85 x 37). That means you'll need 2183 MP to come from MP washing to reach your 7126 MP goal. If you gain 23 MP per MP wash, you'll need 94 MP washes.

Personally, my BM had 210 base INT, 300 total INT. I MP washed ~150 times and my BM had 13k HP potential by 135. I know that's not exactly what you're aiming for, but I hope it's a nice reference point for what you're looking to accomplish. Let me know if you have any other questions! :D

Wow, thanks! I certainly did not take into account the HP gained from job advancements. But then again, extra HP is not a bad thing. I think I understand the gist of how to get there now.

Btw, since I'm projected to have at least 4943 MP by 135 with my current int, does that mean that after saving 94 AP to MP wash, I can start adding the rest of the AP from level ups into my primary stat (dex) ?

Yes, you can keep your base INT at 237—no need to go higher if you're MP washing.
