Dear Mapleroyals community,

I've taken some time to reflect on recent events and feel it's important to extend my sincere apologies to each one of you. If my actions caused any sort of drama within our community, I want to acknowledge it and express my regret.

Firstly, I'd like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff members who work tirelessly to maintain the integrity of Mapleroyals, even during the holiday season. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful for the effort you put into providing us with a positive gaming environment. GM Becca thank you for making me realize this.

To my fellow former alliance "Ours" and the rest of the alliance, I want to apologize for any discomfort or tension my actions may have caused. Even though i am still bullied in the game but i am ready to forgive you. Let's collectively strive for a drama-free environment where our shared love for the game can flourish. Together, we can create a space that not only embraces the joy of gaming but also fosters positive interactions.

It seems like a troll apology after your behavior towards other people.

If it's genuine - then I take back my words, I just don't think it is.

 

LOL me behaviour towards other people? Do you think everyone else is 100% innocent here? I've been here for over a year and never had issues until last month and it was only a 1 time drama. Forum doesn't even count, i got tons of friends and my own guild in the game. I don't troll by the way, i always say things how they are even if it results to me getting banned or not. Nvm i'm deleting this thread, no point of even apologizing since it's just not appreciated.

 

So here's a basic tip for interpersonal relations: if you want your apology to seem sincere, you have to swallow your pride—completely, not choke it up the instant someone's snarky at you. If you had instead responded with: "No, you're right, I could have phrased that better. Anyway, I'm not trolling, but I understand if you don't believe me. I'll let my actions speak for me instead. Have a good day." then you might have come off as actually sincere. Instead you sort of shot yourself in the foot with the way that you actually replied.

It's not easy to admit mistakes and swallow pride. (I would know.) Probably 90% of people can't do it when publicly called out like this. But I like helping people, so I'm posting this on the off chance that you are one of those that can be helped. That said, statistically speaking, you're probably not help-able, and therefore I'm fully prepared for a spicy response to this intentionally snarky comment. But I wonder if you can beat the odds.

 

Spare me your tantrum.

Instead of acknowledging the fact you had a huge drama (yes, spamming smega's, talking in discord, talking at the comm. blacklist / shoutbox, that's all drama), you just choose to go on the defense.

Don't think you are doing anybody a favor just because you decide to apologize - you don't.

Instead of saying that you apologize and evolve from your mistakes - DO IT. don't just talk some nice words.

I talked with you before in-game, you don't seem like an unreasonable person, you seemed actually like a decent guy, but then all this stuff happened.

I believe you are a decent guy, so prove it. don't prove it to me, prove it to everybody you've hurt, everybody you harassed, everybody you annoyed.

Let them see you understand your mistakes.

This thread, if you choose to take it seriously and have some integrity and meaning behind every word, is your first step towards that.

tbh idk about your so called drama but as long as you genuinely change your ways I doubt people will hold a grudge for long

Some people in this gaming community take things way too seriously, like their life depends on it. I've been around for over a year, and while I've mostly had a good experience, there's always that one person ready to spread negativity based on a single comment here on forums.

If you're not one of the popular players, brace yourself for some hate, especially in the forums. I've got my own guild with 250 active members, and my friend list is always full, so in-game, I'm doing just fine. But on these forums, it's a different story. I've despised forums since my MapleStory days in 2005-2010. Weebs demanding changes, GM's slaves, and toe lickers – forums were the downfall of MapleStory, i've seen every update and patch there is.

So, here's to the joys of gaming: where you can be a hero in one realm and a forum villain in another. Cheers to dodging the hate, both in-game and on these notorious forums! Happy holidays. I don't plan to play anyways for a long time, i got an internship in Norway since i'm from around here and life is good. My parents and teachers always taught me; those who can't forgive others even though you as a bigger person did apologize, it's not your problem anymore, it's them, because their life isn't probably going well or they aren't just mature enough and will always find an excuse to every little thing.

 

Also - "he's not in a good spot probably anyways.. idc lol." wasn't necessary as well, but I do wonder if you talked about in-game status, or IRL matters within my country. this comment is quite shallow and sad either way.

 

you keep saying 'that was unnecessary' and 'this was unnecessary' but you're missing the ironic fact that your entire initial comment was unnecessary to begin with. even if you think this is not a genuine apology, the bare minimum moral thing you can do is give the guy a chance to prove it is infact genuine, or at the very least not comment. what was your comment good for, besides creating drama and antagonize him? instead, you go on and on trying to educate a guy who you don't even know, with condescending statements like 'spare me your tantrum'. Or is this not harrasing because the dude harrased someone else first?
Maybe it's time to do some reflecting instead of more walls of texts?

Koga, seriously though, just ignore that guild. The rest of us have no idea what happened, because both sides have provided few factual details. Not everybody gets along with everybody else, and perhaps you guys just clashed too much. Even more powerful than an apology would be (1) not interacting with them where possible and (2) using a 'professional' and courteous tone when you need to interact with them, and not taking subtle digs at them. Believe me when I say I have been in your position a lot in my younger days though. I know it is very frustrating, and it absolutely sucks that others don't seem to realize how sucky it is. You have my empathy. But please just try and ignore them.

I am a meat eater, but I understand and support vegans being proud of being vegan. They have the right idea. Animal products take far too many resources to produce.

 

Honestly, I am sick and tired of how people try to blame me all the time, like I'm the worst guy ever in this game, even though I'm not. All I did was use a few megaphones (smegas) saying "ours" guild kicks members so easily and is super rude and strict, which got me the hate. Not here in the forums at all, even though I've been trolling a few times. Imagine getting all the blame now for it. They used megaphones as well, even more than I did. They massively defamed me at least 15 times. Schmank invaded my guild Discord saying rude things. Here's the fun part: it's still going on even though I am trying to apologize and haven't bothered anyone in the game ever since this little petty "drama" happened, what, like 3-4 weeks ago if not even more?!

This S1lence kid is hilarious though. First, he's attacking me rudely, and now he's retreating and acting innocent. This whole apology thread is already messed up, and honestly, I 100% tried to apologize even though it wasn't perfect. None of us are perfect; give me a break. I am not nearly the baddest player in this game. In fact, when I play the game, I always have a good time with others and have a decently good reputation among anyone i meet + friends / guild / alliance.

The irony—I tried to protect Mysticwings many times since my guild took its spot in the Alliance. Think about that, S1lence. I have no clue what you are even talking about. I didn't mention anything you just claimed, and I don't even care in the first place. Also, are you seriously going to bring words like "passive aggressiveness" to this thread? Really?

To all: I've managed to report over 10 guys who got banned; many got permanently banned. I am not nearly the baddest guy in this game, so stop making me that way. I shouldn't even have had to make this thread in the first place since it didn't bring any good.

Yet i still made this thread to apologize and people don't seem to give me a break at all. I still have like 50+ screenshots including all the reports i've managed to report + get many many players banned. Remember bunnieavery drama? 80% of the bullies were Ours, Totoro and WNHoes members, i got pictures where everyone kept bullying averiebunny or what ever, none of them got blacklisted. I was one of the bully but not in a way i got banned for it since i didn't technically break any rules.


So yeah Tentomon, this thread is horrible and i honestly tried to do a good thing here. I didn't do this for myself, i am mature enough to apologize even though it wasn't perfect. This thread is broken and probably made me look even more bad now. S1lence had enough of chaos already?

 

The criticism of your members stealing fm spots is justified considering you have an infamous shop camper and all of his alts in your guild. If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is.

 

Dude... WHO the heck cares? None of my guild has done this except 1 player, do you honestly think my guild is the only one that does this? Is this even a bad thing? Nobody owns FM. Also this doesn't belong here, we already made a thread about this and most voters already voted "No" since someone asked something about FM rights, so deal with it. I think it's even more rude to say this openly in an event where this is a defamation against me and my guild + alliance. Hemmy (who was in my guild before) could've easily whispered me this but instead he decided to be a clown and confronted me in front of 100+ players, does this sound legit excuse to you? He's been on every day and he could've done something to blacklist or talked to me but nah he decided to bully me and defame my guild's reputation in a massive xmas event. Think about that for a while. They didn't stop bullying me and my guild in this whole event, this is just 1 SS u kno and event took more than 10 seconds fyi. Not very legendary Hemmy.. coming from a level 200 player who acts like a level 13 who just got out of maple island and ready to cry how the big maple world is tough and hard..

Also you know what's stupid? Ours guild + it's alliance leader kept sending me discord messages + in game messages how one of my guild "steals" FM spots and ordered me to kick him. I asked more details, and you know what they said? They said he's also a "mass defamer" and broke the game rules, that's where i kicked my guildie. Eventually this player logged in, i talked to him and this is what he said: "I have no idea what is FM spot stealing, i just found a free spot and used it, i have no clue about mass defaming". So Ours members + it's alliance claimed they reported the guy before i kicked my guildie just to push me to kick him. Why is this player still playing the game? Because he never mass defamed anyone. Mass defaming is bannable. I eventually added him back and he's been a very chill player in our guild, always helping but never talking or doing anything bad, he's 99% mute. Why would i kick an innocent player like this and believe some pissed off players who try to lie their way to control other guilds?? Jesus you guys are strict as heck.. you whine about FM where you literally can use owls + other channels or just wait a free spot like everyone else does. As you can see from the screenshots, even Ours members don't like them. I have a lot of spies in that whole alliance anyways + tons of screenshots they wouldn't even like.

There's not even proof about any of this, this is just another defamation and harassment against my guild where suddenly we are now a FM spot stealer? Give me a break. My guild is one of the most chill guilds there is, we never even participate in drama and our guild is borderline casual too. I don't care if someone steals a spot in FM, it's your responsibility to be aware of another players in a mini map. Learn how to use it maybe?

Maybe you guys should try to enjoy holidays for once instead of whining in a mushroom game about everything whether it's my apology or FM spot "stealing" (boohoo mommy my fm spot was stolen what should i do?).


This is your chance to read all this before this gets taken down + i'm prob gonna get a 7 day ban here, oh well.. never cared much for forums anyways, too bad i am on a holiday rn irl i got too much time to even waste my time with schemers like you who try to control your little worlds and cry about everything if it doesn't fit to your views. One is cringe about me wishing merry xmas and gets insulted because he's a jew.. one is cringe about FM spots, FM that literally means = Free Market.

 

Wow. Some people on this server majorly need to grow up, and I am not referring to Koga.

The words and behavior shown in those screenshots is quite nasty. Having been on the receiving end of that kind of dogpiling in my younger days, I know how horrible it is. It is rather ironic that such people are so critical toward those of us who have difficulties fitting in, while at the same time convincing themselves that this kind of instigating and trolling is completely reasonable behavior. It's not!

BTW Koga, I think it's best not to tell people you have reported them and/or they are going to get banned. Best to just not reply, but to screenshot and report.

How fun it would be to create a FM camping guild, where our entire purpose is just to make FM hoes cry by all hanging out in 1-1 to try and steal their spots and make resetting their stores as stressful as possible.
