L>Info regarding mob d/cs & lag

Rather than having all the information spread out amongst 20 different threads, please post here if you're getting issues with d/cing or lagging in maps that have monsters in them.

Please reply if you are experiencing this problem with as much information as possible, a format like this would be appreciated:

IGN(s): Winsane, Wincake
Map(s) you're d/cing on: Ant tunnel (usually every single map with mobs in them when this is happening, unless a player is in the map when I log in)
When this started happening: I had this problem a few days ago, and then it was fine for 3-4 days and now it started again today.
MTR: Can't make one right now.
Any additional info: Right now I can't even log in at all, when I click my character I get instant DC with the "You have been disconnected from the server" message.

EDIT: And as jackass posted, when someone was at the map when I logged in it worked fine but when they moved far away from me on the minimap I suddenly froze and got disconnected.

Also something that might be worth noting is that when one of my accounts (Winsane) froze, I walked to the map with my other character (Wincake) and I could see Winsane frozen in the air. And all the mobs were frozen too almost like a hack and I could walk around and kill them on Wincake without them moving an inch. It was strange.

i log in then after like 1-2 seconds the mobs will freeze and after like 15-20s i DC but i still can see other ppl move or chat but i cant chat or use spells myself.
later when i tried to log in mecheez was grinding on the map and i was ok...so i told him to cc and few seconds after he cced my game crashed again it seems like as long as some one is reducing the amount of mobs on map im ok...same happend on skeles with wasteofmana

edit: it seems to be ok on skeles now...road to oblivion 2 still dcs me tho...
edit2:it seems like even oblivion is ok now...weird
edit3:ita happening again now in the first map right from the singapore had to make ty go to the map and kill mobs so i could log in and escape back to fm

Yeah, If you want to log in a specific channel then you should pick channel 4 first->Go to the FM->switch to the specific channel
it works only for few minutes though
((helpfull sometimes))

Maps you're dcing: I guess 2 are in Fm mage im not sure...
Started like 19:00 gmt+1 worked fine till i tried to change character.
Getting quick without lags to character select then always loose connection to log-in server

When this started happening: 11/26, about 3:00 pm EST (I took a long break from maple, and only just started again yesterday but everything was fine then)

When this started happening: 30 mins ago, it was all good then I tried to relog and it started.
Any additional info: (Have you found a way to not d/c? Etc): Nope, its happening like last time, just getting d/cs with the account that is attacking, I'm using mapleedit3 btw.

Any additional info: Edit3 client seem to be working well against this, I think, but I don't know if the lag just stops or if the client actually works, because it still happens occasionally. Ironically, Edit3 was by far the worst client to be on when this issue was gone for a few days.

i can stay in fm fine, but once i go to map which has monster there i will stuck and log out.
it happened to me two weeks ago and i just wait almost a week and it fixed by itself. however it happen again

 

i though it was a ban, it confused me. hoping it fixed soon.

 

Nope my issue seems to be fixed now.

When this started happening: it started around 15 hrs ago and last for 2 hr or so that I eventually gave up

MTR: can't provide for now, will try to make one later on if it happens again * touch wood *

Any additional info:
Basically it started lagging since I log in, and within sec to 2 mins it would dc, and it was all the same whenever i tried to re-log and picked another channel (or reboot my modem) .And when it was lagging, I saw the mob frozen, while all the chats still going on.

Furthermore, I saw my party member and guild mates most of them also having the dc problem, as most of them they dc at the same time and dc continuously. :x I believe they were in different map (locations) but ofc places with mob.

Lastly.. I am wondering if I should try the Edit3 Client. :s

More additional note: It actually happened to me days ago then it seemed getting slightly better. While it was getting better for me, it was my guild mates' turn to have massive dc. And last night it was back to me (or I should say most of us), its really weird and random.
