im getting lag while playing and i cant figure out why and need help finding a solution. my wife whos next to me with a worse pc has absolutly no lag but mine gets bad to the point of being unplayable (6+ second delay on things, thank god for auto-potion pets)

    i have tried:
    uninstall+reinstall game
redid my O/S (and updated windows)
    everything on this thread: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/preventing-lag.365/
completly disabling firewall after that thread didnt help

edit 1: if i alt+tab the lag stops for awhile then comes back
also i have nothing that isnt required running in background
edit2: i also dont use an anti virus

Are you playing on the same network?
You don't mention what windows version you are using but windows defender and maybe other built in security programs are active by default.

    • If you use wifi try using a cable instead.
    • Would also suggest you try connecting your computer to a different network to make sure if it's a computer or network problem.
Like using Hotspot and connect your computer to your mobile phones 3g/4g network.
