Hello, before anything else I must say that this problem is because of my computer, so I do not address this problem to MapleRoyals. So basically I get lag spikes not only on Maple, also other games, but it happens in Maple frequently. So maybe here I can find some computer guy who can help me. Lag spikes (for like 2 sec) happens when: 1. I open skills, inventory etc. for the first time 2. Someone messages using megaphones (the ones that appear in top right corner) 3. When I level up 4. Randomly during game. I checked my task manager and I noticed that when lag spike happens, my HDD usage spikes: My other specs definitely aren't the problem. I have i7-8750h, gtx 1050ti(with integrated intel HD-630), 128gb SSD, 1TB HDD So is it possible to fix this problem without using my SSD? Or my HDD is doomed to have this problem?
Your SSD should be your boot drive, where you should also have Royals installed. Download and run Crystal Disk Info and find out the hours of runtime and health of your hard drive. Also check for a firmware update for your SSD.
