So the wife decided to jump the ship to Orbis (at lvl27). Couldn't work out how to get back so decided to go down the tower where she kept getting killed. I go to help her (at lvl32) and between us we manage to get to the bottom of the tower and into el nath....where we are stuck! How on earth can we get back to Victoria island? Scrolls don't work and we can't get back up the tower without a LOT of deaths/restarts!
If you can go back to the tower and up to the 8th floor (or higher), using a nearest town scroll will take you back to Orbis. (If you're at floor 7 or lower it will send you back to El Nath) Once in Orbis you need to reach the top right area and head back into the station. This can be easily done by changing channel while you guys are on the right side of the town map; doing so will put you at the top. Enter the station and buy a ticket to Victoria Island from the NPC at the center. Then walk all the way to the right and speak to the NPC there, asking to head into the platform to Elinia / Victoria Island. Keep going until you reach the ship boarding area. The ship to Orbis leaves every 15 minutes starting on the hour (for example 01:00, 01:15, 01: 30, 01:45, 02:00 and so on). Boarding starts 5 minutes before each departure and closes 1 minute before departure. Be sure to enter the cabin once the ship sets sail to avoid dying in case Balrogs spawn. They don't spawn on every trip but if they do spawn it will happen 1 minute after the ship departs so there's plenty of time and you guys should be fine
Oh boy, this is going to be fun! Falling down is easy but climbing up is a pain when you have no hand/eye co-ordination! Wish me luck! Thanks for the advice!
Forgot to update this but we eventually made it high enough to be able to use the nearest own scroll - we didn't even have any deaths although there was a LOT of falling down and having to climb back up again (wife 10x more than me! ). We've resolved to never go back until we can go up and down without any trouble from mobs and I suspect that will be a few more levels yet.
