Quest Let us choose between fame and defame on quests!

Im a big fan of Defames, and bought lots of it along the journey.

The problem is, whenever i do a quest that gives me fame, i lose my progress. When i did CWKPQ Prequest, lost a lot and now i lose 1/day on Rose Garden.
Is it possible that we can choose between be famed or defamed when we do this quests?
Would help every single player that prefer defame over fame.

Complete your quests first, then buy defame?
Having fame requirements on some equips is cool tho

 

Your point makes no sense since Rose Garden gives you 1 fame/day. Even if it didnt, CWKPQ and Papulatus also give tons of fames, so i gotta reach high level to have the defame i want?

And they dont need to remove the fame req., they can only adjust it so you can either have 77 fame or -77 to wear the auf, for exemple.

 

Personally I think it's a bit unreasonable to request that staff overhaul all the various parts of an established system (i.e., changing fame requirements on all the different equipment items, coding a defame option on all the different quests) to accommodate a niche, unconventional choice that you intentionally made.

 

I have done more than 1000 quests and I got famed by lots of little cute npc guys around the maple world because I helped them and ran some errands for them and they famed me for it. It wouldnt make any sense if they defamed me. Same goes for other real human players that decided to fame me because I helped them somehow. I understand you like the defame visual and style but that's your choice and If you lack the fame requirement to wear auf helmet or black pirate pants you just cant wear them and thats it. Thats how this version works, just doesnt make any sense changing that

 

Fame system is also usefull. People would defame someone whos toxic during cpq and so on. There's a meaning to it, there is fame and there's defame, period

 

Tbh i don't know how difficult it'd be to change it, i don't really understand much about coding. But if it's possible to change it without compromise other parts of the game, i don't see why not. At least on primordial quests, like rose garden, since it's 1fame/day.

 

You don't have to be defamed, the request is to be able to choose it.

 

Just don't use Auf Helm or do Rose Garden. Land 10x Chaos scrolls on a Zak/Scarga helm and sell leech instead.
