Hey guys, I need some advice! I want to scroll a bottom for my Night Lord, and I don't know whether I should go with a level 80 or 90 bottom. The level 90 bottom would be a lot easier to hunt for, but any DEX above 20 (after scrolling ofc) would be useless untill we get reverse weapons (if ever). A level 80 bottom would be a LOT harder to hutn for (very poor dropspots), but would still be useful if it ends up with 20+ DEX. What should I go with? Thanks in advance for your opinions! ~
The level 90 bottom requires 130 DEX to wear. Say you make a 25 DEX bottom, you'd end up with 155 DEX. The highest level weapon we currently have in the server are dragon weapons, and the dragon claw requires 150 DEX to wear. So you'd end up with 5 'useless' DEX. The level 80 bottom only requires 120 DEX to wear, so a 25 DEX bottom would bring you up to 145. That would mean all of the points are actually put to use. This would be cancelled out if we ever get reverse/timeless weapons, cause the reverse claw requires 160 DEX to wear, but I'm unsure whether or not it's confirmed we'll be getting those.
I have a level 90 top and a level 80 bottom. Level 80 bottoms arent too terribly hard to hunt for- the red pirate skirts drop from blue kents, the same ones in the manon map. The spawn isnt amazing, but it's not abysmal either. I went with whatever I could find and scroll without blowing it up. I used a level 60 bottom scrolled to 21 dex for a while too actually. Got it from hunting at FoG, but it had no luk on it. Ended up with a red pirate skirt later on. As for whichever one you want to use, neither are really useless. a 20 dex level 90 bottom with a good amount of luk on it would do just as well. I believe my current ones have 8 luk, but I could be wrong- been a little while since I looked.
80 would be better. Lower Dex requirement is a plus for any equip without sacrificing much in terms of stats, but in the end, it's just like a few stats that you're sacrificing. Figure out the balance of either settling with a really nice godly clean 90 bottom or trudging through for a slim chance at a nice 80 bottom.
