As title states. Currently I can only confirm with castle golems since I have 4 cards for them - the book says that they are "Vulnerable (+50%) to Lightning Attribute Attacks". However, using my pally to attack them, I found that they're actually resistant to lightning, taking half damage. IIRC every mob is like this, where instead of being weak to an element, they're resistant to one specific element. Some mobs have one elemental weakness (and maybe resistance), but many mobs have only one resistance and no weaknesses. See later post.
Screenshots showing what the book says, what my damage is with holy, and what it is with lightning against castle golems. Technically holy charge has a slightly higher damage value than fire/cold/light, but it's insignificant, and the damage is normal with fire/cold. It's only lightning that gets resisted by castle golems. My testing shows that vultures resist lightning and are weak to nothing, bearwolves have no elemental affinity either way, red reindeers are actually weak against ice but resist nothing, white reindeers are resistant to ice and weak against nothing, and crockies are weak to fire but resist cold. I don't have cards for anything other than golems but judging by the golems being incorrect, it's possible that the devs accidentally set golems, vultures (and white reindeers?) to be resistant instead of weak to certain elements in some cases. Crockies are fine and it's possible that bearwolves aren't meant to have any resistance or weakness, but I'm not sure if the two different reindeers are meant to be weak/resistant to opposing elements by design or if that's accidental as well. Also the book states that castle golems are found in ToT Road to Oblivion 4/5, not like that matters.
