I'd be surprised if this hasn't been suggested before, but I was unable to find anything. In my opinion, a big issue with endgame bossing is the lack of mechanics the player needs to act for. It's almost never worth it to try to avoid an attack since any damage is instantly healed. I've been playing through the dojo recently, and it really shows how much more fun a lot of the fights are when you actually have to pay attention and dodge attacks. Some bosses definitely feel like they're designed for unlimited potion use, but some are a blast without it. Especially the final boss, where basically every attack is completely avoidable. It's a lot of fun to actually have to avoid AoEs and to jump incoming projectiles, or duck under lasers. Way more enjoyable than standing in one spot chugging cheese wheels. This also helps the issue where rather than bringing many different classes to fights, you bring a select few and use mules. The mules can simply be kept alive most of the time with pets. Requiring players to actually act to stay alive during combat would result in a lot more class diversity. If possible, a cooldown that scales with the amount of HP restored would be ideal. This would help un or low washed characters since they wouldn't be waiting as long as a 30k HP character to use a PE use that restores less total HP. Since they restore less health, their cooldown would be proportionally lower. It also helps DKs use more frequent but smaller heals to stay in berserk range. I'd love to see potion cooldowns or a similar restriction on some future bosses. To be honest, I'd love to see it on old bosses as well, but that seems like it would require a lot of effort. It doesn't play well with 1/1 attacks and redesigning any popular fights to account for that breaks from gms.
Becuz of hp wash we no need hb , becuz of mules we no need pt DrkHB/ArcherSE/Crash/Si/BishopRessHeal, this is why royal doesnt need to social , u just need 3 fren with Mules~ Royal bosses doesnt need any tactic , u just need to wash hp + dun DC, this is the play style mapleroyals wan us to play.
I think disabling pet's AutoPot would be easier than selective restrictions on what potions can be used
Thanks for your input! This is probably not going to be added into the current bosses but we will keep it in mind for future releases.
