Hi, I'm brand new here and I have encountered a rather annoying roadblock. My problem is that I had my original maplestory account during the time in which you were no longer able to use a username to create an account, and were only able to use an email address. This is a problem because the old maplestory login only supports so many characters so that it would be impossible for any email address to fit. Is there no way around this? I do not have an account that uses a username, so I cannot use it to login in to this server. Any help is welcome!
Either its me or you're a little confused. MapleRoyals does not connect to the Nexon Server. This is a Private server, it has nothing to do with Nexon at all. In MapleRoyals it has its own database so you will not be able to use the account you have on the Real MapleStory. You will need to register to MapleRoyals in the following link ; http://royals.ms/?page=register Once you make your account, you use that Username you make as your login. Still not sure if its me confused about this post, or you confused about the server. Anyways, I hope this help. If you need further help feel free to PM me, or just continue posting below.
I can see this thread is old, but I need to reply as I'm having the same issue and haven't found a more recent post with the same problem. While I'm well aware that this server shouldn't connect to the Nexon server, whichever way I try to open the installed Maplestory application from the 'Downloads' page (MEGA option) it gives me the Nexon EU Login window. If I enter my official details, nothing happens; if I enter the details for this site, nothing happens; and if I close the window without entering info, nothing happens. I tried deleting the 'passport' folder from the Nexon folder, but it respawned when I tried to launch the game. I was really looking forward to playing again, so any suggestions would be gratefully received.
I don't know where you download from but this server is not connected to Nexon. No idea where you got a passport folder from as there isn't one from our site. Use the support forum if you are having problems.
