Closed Lost Alcadno Cape

    I'm not the one to answer in a thread like this, as I'm just a regular player. But I think you need to provide them with more information or nobody will be able to help you.
    How did you lose the cape? What did you do prior to it getting lost?x

    I drop the cape accidently. I thought I can do a quest to get it back but then I realize it is impossible. I need the cape to start the quest so I wish I can get a new one.

    Can you check again "Maed" npc not the "Han the Broker"

    You can reobtain the cape, it actually counts also as a separate quest and it is litteraly called "reaquiring Alcadno cape"

    People who strive to get the Quest Specialist medal will most likely drop their cape ONCE in order go get a 1/800 count from the Re-acquiring Alcadno Cape quest.
    I don't know what you've been told, but I'm almost certain he was not out to fool you. I believe you might have misunderstood. Even IF it would have been possible to endlessly repeat that quest, doing so would be considered glitch abuse as it is clearly a mistake in the programming of the game.

    Let's see what GMs will do about this but I'm afraid you won't get a new cape here. Upon dropping a quest item, you always get a message saying something like "This item cannot be recovered, are you sure you want to drop it?". Next time, you should ponder this for a moment and not be so quick in dropping something just because of something you've heard someone else say. Hopefully you will not do the same mistake with the Zenumist Cape.

    Re-aquiring Alcadno Cape quest should be repeatable with a 4320 minute cooldown (3 days). Have you tried waiting 3 days to do it again?

    I have the same problem. Does this quest still be repeatable with 3days cooldown ?
