Hey all, I've recently opened assassin (level 30), and I don't have budget for washing (about 100m), and I'm playing with low budget friends too, so i'm not looking for early bossing, but mostly for fun. 1) How do you recommend to build AP? Currently I have 25 Dex, but I wonder if I should transition into low-dex or even full Dex... 2) what equipment I should get? 3) is the equipment worth grinding for, and where? I have a level 85 priest that I can use... Thanks!
You can use the maple claws (lvl 35, 43, 64, and 77) as they have no dex requirement. Then you can use a bathrobe for luk. At level 50, buy a zhelm. You could scroll it for dex, but I recomend scrolling it for int. You won't lose much damage, and if you do ever want to wash this will give you some extra hp. You could grind for some of this gear on your mage if you want, but there's probably enough cheap lower stat instances of these items that it's faster to just buy.
thanks I feel like I miss a lot... does it get better later? And if ill need dex for weapons at 100+, why shouldn't i put some base dex now?
Yeah, you won't have issues hitting as you level more. People try to avoid putting points into secondary stats for two reasons: you get alot of secondary stats from random equips (mons, belts, helmet etc) as you get more into endgame, in which case you'd have to buy apr to reset the dex. A more minor thing is that people prefer all their base ap in their primary stat to best benefit from mw (+% base, not equip). If you want to use a craven as soon as you hit 100, you can add base dex closer to then, but I recomend using your skanda as long as possible so you have time to get gear that gives luk and dex, to avoid needing to apr dex later.
