Anniversary Coin Mobs: make sure you hit silver and gold coin mobs with normal attack. Bishop/mage ult nerfs the drop rate of coin mobs drastically.


Windraider (65-67):
Meso:
14m/hr from NPC
The bishop I use to test this mob is lvl 187. Lower level will result in higher exp.
If in a party of 1+5:
1357k (102% lvl 66)
1+2:
1718k (129% lvl 66)


Goby (51 - 65/67)

Refer to the last part of the article. You could try leeching yourself at goby.
At low level, the EXP on each char for 1+5 is about 80% that of 1+2, but you are leeching 5 chars. The total EXP you get with each unit of meso in 1+5 is about 2 times in 1+2.
If you goal is leeching 1 to 4 chars, it would be great to bring one or two goby attacker(s) along, so you can do super fast goby leech later. You don't need super high investment on 56+ attackers at goby. I spent less than 400m on zhelms, weapons, DEX overalls, face, DEX/STR capes for 2 goby attackers.

Thailand - Deep Jungle
I didn't test Rodeo/MB2, but I expect MB2 to be slow and dry so I didn't bother going there.
Meso:
36m/hr from NPC
10~20 helm DEX 60%/hr
~30 steel ores/hr
1+5 EXP:
981k (132% lvl 55)
In a 1+2 party, it would be
1289k (173% lvl 55)
I leeched my chars lvl 55 - 57 at Pythons, then I went to Goby. Yes, goby is super fast.

Coolie Zombie (52-55):
El Nath - Forest of Dead Trees III
Meso:
32m/hr from NPC
zombie teeth 18 stacks/hr
~10/hr power crystal ores, mage shoes, Psycho Claw (knuckle for goby leecher), thief top, warrior top and bottom
1+5 EXP:
675k (107% lvl 52)
In a 1+2 party, it would be
876k (139% lvl 52)
You can also find a priest to leech you. It's about 3/4 the speed as a bishop. I would expect the price to be about 30m/hr from priest sellers. Reference

Muddy Bank 1 (MB1, 51-52, not recommended):
AVOID THIS MAP. STAY WITH WRAITH.

10.7m/hr from NPC (only 1 inv of equip in 45 min)
1+5 EXP:
689k (115% lvl 51)
It took me 53 min to leech 5 chars 51 to 52
In a 1+2 party, it would be
890k (149% lvl 51)
If you are a party of 1 bishop + 2 chars, it takes 32 min to hit 52. But that's about the same speed at Wraith. Also Wraith gives more meso (and steel ores). If you are a smaller party (1 to 3 chars), goby leech might be better compared to bishop leech.

6~9 maple shields per hr, mage overall and pirate overall are worth something (10 str could be sold for 30~40m cuz goby leecher needs it), a few power crystals.
1+5:
428k (201% lvl 39)
In a 1+2 party, it would be
521k (245% lvl 39)

White Versal Materia + 7 Black Crystal :
64k EXP
You will need exactly 10 WVM and 70 Black Crystals to hit lvl 36. Find this guy in NLC:
The Glimmer Man
If you don't have black crystal you may need to buy them. That could make WVM+7 crystals more expensive than using orbis ETC. Currently WVM 5-7m, black crystal 1-1.2m, orbis ETC 0.6m/stack (and pepe beaks might be exchanged for 7 steel ores or 7 mithril ores). If you can tolerate exchanging orbis ETC hundreds of times you might wanna do orbis ETC all the way..

Jr. Wraith (30 - 36):
I didn't test it.

Orbis ETC (7-30) :
3200 EXP each stack
114 stacks 10 to 30
116 stacks 7 to 30
Buy pepe beaks and yeti horns if you can cuz pepe beaks could be exchanged for 7 steel ores or 7 mithril ores. Usually sellers won't sell them separately.


Goby (51 - 65/67)
Aqua Road - Deep Sea Gorge II
Your attacker needs to be at least lvl 56 to get EXP.
Non-attackers need to be within 5 levels of the attacker's lvl, and at least lvl 51 to get EXP.

My chars are not washed. I use 57 spearman and 57 page as attackers and leech 3 chars.
Stopper, MW 10, echo, SE, and use 4 speed weapons.
(lvl 57, 2+3) In 35 min, spearman 275%, page 315%, and other 3 chars 178% ea.
(lvl 67, 2+3) In 31 min, spearman (67-69) 177%, page (68-70) 171%, and other 3 chars 120% ea.
In 3.5 hours, attackers (57) +12.3 levels, (57) +13.1 levels, 3 mules (56 or 57) +8.5 levels. If measured by some goby leech seller's price. The lvl's gained are about 3b value.
You can always leech one or two attackers (pref. bucc, warriors are good too) along with the washed chars, and use them as goby leecher later.

Spoiler: Character builds

My shopping list before I hit goby:
1. zak helm
2. DEX overall
3. 6 or 7 dex/acc face
4. the weapons that suits you (for me no SI so I chose 4 speed weapons, and choose acc weapon according to the char's acc)
5. capes and shoes, DEX and STR cape/PAC, ACC shoes/FS
6. DEX earrings
Don't be anxious about not having good gears. Even if you are taking 150% or 200% of the time a pro seller would take, you are still saving a lot of time at goby compared to Python/MB2.

Character builds

These are my balrog mules so I have no access to SI and MW 20. I choose 4 speed weapons.
Spearman (stopper and maple pop):
4 speed Maple Impaler (60% scrolled, 76 att 5 str)
hat: zakum helm (unscrolled cuz I don't wanna wait till tomorrow)
face: 7 dex 7 acc
overall: 21 dex 11 acc

Page (stopper and basket):
4 speed Japanese Map (60% scrolled, 84 att 11 str)
hat: 24 DEX 36 acc (acc scrolled) zakum helmet
face: 7 dex 7 acc
overall: 23 dex 13 acc
eye: 7 dex 7 acc

CGS 1: 13/4, 17 DEX cape (and later 10 STR cape cuz acc requirement is lower at higher lvl)
CGS 2: 22/18, 9 PAC

I also tested appo vs stopper. Turns out that with 2 attackers, apples are not much faster than stoppers (~10% faster). It's not worth it so I return to stopper.

Note:
a. Why bother doing low level leech yourself? Cuz some bishops are really bad at leech, and it's super hard to find a bishop for low level leech. At some point I was leeching myself and got 130%/hr on each char, but a seller I found via smega could only leech 85%/hr... I would like to give players some reference how much EXP an average leech would provide, so you could negotiate with poor leechers.
b. 1+2 party calculated according to @nomade 's exp formula(s)
c. I leeched my chars to lvl 57, and then I am gonna goby leech myself till 65. I will not test MB2 cuz I expect it to be slow and dry.
d. I will not test Windraider (65-67) (actually I tested it cuz my leechers turned lvl 72 and I didn't notice it.. 2 of the mules were 66 and won't get any exp), because self-goby leech is faster. But my impression on CWK mobs leech was good. You could try. I would expect Windraider to be much faster than Python or MB2,

Wow I thought this lower drop rate only applied in LHC, its global?

 

It applies to all event drops and LHC totems. -50% drop if ults deal at least 80% of a mob's hp

That’s difficult to check compared to time. Split between people of different levels, those who buy leeches and then afk through and past (eg goes to work, won’t report their exp), 1 person dc in middle etc. Of course, very experienced leechers would be able to estimate things but most lowbie leechers are people who just hit bishop and trying to earn some mesos while levelling up

 

Indeed. It will only work for Pro leecher whom he knows approx. how many exp to charge first…..
But likewise the aim of this thread, to provide target / promising result to buyer, is always a nice thing

 

Consider the same party comp (1 bishop + 2)
Find A = (your level)/(party total level)
Devide the EXP you gain by A: B = EXP/A
And compare B of different leechers.
The A factor won't be very different tho. For example, 125 bishop + 2x 43 chars, and 125 bishop + 2x 50 chars, the A factors are 0.204 and 0.222. They only differ by 9%.
So if a leecher is providing you 30% lower than an average leecher, you should probably find another one if you can.

Devide B by another factor: C = B/cptsize = EXP/(A x cptsize), and compare C of different leechers.
