So there was a time where I wasn't too bad at grinding. Most people on my buddylist will read that sentence and go "You? GRIND? LOL blahblahblahblahblah" This is because I suck at grinding now, and with CPQ being down I need to do LPQ to level my characters. From the limited experience of doing LPQ on this server I get the impression that most players know what to do, until stage 8. Once stage 8 enters the picture...ohboy To cut down on the time spent at stage 8 (which will reduce stress and improve team synergy (SYNERGY SYNERGY SYNERGY)) I have decided to write this concise guide. Overview Instead of placing 5 members on the typical 1-2-3-4-5 start, place the members in the following order : 1-3-6-7-4. The roles are essentially the same. The person who would be standing on 4 would now stand on 7 The person who would be standing on 5 would now stand on 4 Think of it as rearranging the numbers to make better use of the shape. You will save a lot of time (or take slightly longer if the combination was one of the earlier ones.) by making full use of the layout of the puzzle. 1 (standard) will stay as 1. 2 (standard) is now 3 3 (standard) is now 6 4 (standard) is now 7 5 (standard) is now 4 6 (standard) is now 8 7 (standard) is now 2 8 (standard) is now 5 9 (standard) will remain as 9 1 (1) 7(2) 2(3) 5(4) 8(5) 3(6) 4(7) 6(8) 9(9) (numbers in brackets show the original layout) By rearranging as such, it makes better use of the layout and reduces the movement time between boxes. This adds up, and will save considerable time when dealing with later combinations. To make full use of this though, the leader needs to be on the ball with clicking. There is a slight delay between your party member moving to a box and you seeing him/her move onto that box from your screen. As you see the party member moving to the next box, click on the balloon safe in the knowledge that the party member is already there on his/her screen. If there is no delay for you, ignore this point. k im done bye noobs
For a serious reply- images would help a lot. Even better, a demonstration video with commentary for those who may be slow learners. It does sound like JMS style. I remember doing KMS style a lot.
It reduces jumping around since all you have to do is walk to the right or jump up to the left. While this can be a faster movement method, it also stops people from down jumping in the PQ. I believe down jumping was added in after Ludi PQ was implemented, or it's just really buggy for that stage. I've noticed that it tends to delay a lot of people when they try to down jump. They stand on the same spot crouched down and a few seconds later they teleport to the box right under. As far as KMS style goes, I remember it having the people on 3/4/5 stay stationary, while one person alternates 1/2 and another alternates 6/7/8/9.
