I'm not sure how this weapon was or what version it was but would it be a bad thing if it was brought to mapleroyals via gacha maybe just as rare if not rarer than sky skis? Edit: keep it untradeable
It would be because this is equivalent to a reverse weapon and other people will want other reverse weapons if we made the Lunchbox an exception.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind one of the lower level lunchboxes as a novelty event item on Maple Island.
Is this weapon in the game code already? Isn't this weapon's speed Fast (4), making this a pretty broken weapon?
I don't know whether it is in the game already, nor do I know anything about its speed. In the context of Maple Island it doesn't really matter anyway: the foremost weapons will always be those with movement speed, because past a fairly attainable level most islanders one-hit everything anyway. Moreover, there's the Maplemas Lights from the holidays that is both Fast (4) and provides a movement speed boost.
Think it's a Fast (4), while Reverse/Timeless 1-h Sword is a Fast (5). Thinking back on old v0.62 DestinyMS, I think the Lunchboxes are available in v0.62...
Yeah, that's what I thought. I knew it was much better than a Reverse Weapon for a reason. I highly, highly doubt that the 120 Lunchbox will ever see the light of day on MapleRoyals.
It does say job "Common" does that mean beginner? or every class? Can't see anything saying what kind of weapon it is?
The lvl 120 lunchbox is a fast (4) one-handed sword for all jobs without any stat requirements. If we were to introduce it (yes, it's in the files) it would become the new end-game DPS weapon by a lot for Paladins and Heroes with an average attack of 109. Now if we were to go even further and apply the above average + godly system to it (making it possible for the attack to reach 119 clean) all other weapons would become obsolete in terms of high damage and speed (DPS). This item is simply too strong while there are no Timeless and Reverse weapons in the game. It would be unbalanced if we let this item take over the end-game sword users market just to introduce something new and cool. The lvl 90, 60 and 20 versions (without above average or godly system applied to them) could however be introduced without causing too much damage to the balance as the lvl 90 lunch box has 93 attack. This can be reached by a perfect Red Katana as well, which has the same attack speed.
Cool didn't know much about it as I never saw in gms even being uber rare and untradeable throw it might now take over end game weapons as fast this I do agree the 120 version is OP the lower level versions might be better to try with
I would personally love to see this get implemented, possibly from an event? So that it is not effected by the godly system ( Like how glimmer man works).
I would definitely love to have this implemented as an event item for islanders such as chok said such as the lower levels of 20 and 60. I don't agree with the lvl 120 lunchbox being around because it makes the stonetooth obsolete. I like how it makes heroes and paladins work hard to get the right dex requirement for their stoneooth and even going dexless while wearing it. It would definitely cause some issues on adapting their gear to the lunchbox.
Not a valid point^ lets take out purple surfboards and ski skis too bcus they make pinakas and etc obselete right?? Itd only make it fair
There's a major difference between implenting new weapons that are stronger than the older ones, and the according to your logic let's randomly remove already existing weapons from the game because one is stronger than the other.. So I guess you were right about one thing, your own point wasn't valid.
Let's just take this in for a moment : There's a sword made of stone teeth, a beheading instrument, a jewel encrusted golden hammer, a powerful mace made from a cursed skull, and swords/maces/axes infused with the spirits of dragons These powerful, fear inducing weapons of mass destruction are all outclassed and rendered useless in the face of the most overpowered weapon ever : Spoiler a lunchbox
Do you guys think the lunchbox having no godly system worth looking into and perhaps being untradeable?
If I am not mistaken, if the hero and DrK have equally scrolled equips, the DrK pulls ahead the higher attack it has compared to the Hero. SI+any att pot+zerk30 should put a DrK ahead, should it not? @jmmainvi @Plenty @anyone else who does maths
