Hey guys! I think it would be a great idea if there was an option to buy a zakum helmet in the cash shop or something for players on Mac client due to the Zakum d/c problem. ( if of course you have completed the pre quests ) for those players that don't want to download parallels because of storage/ram problems. I don't know that's just my two cents... If you want it, work for it. You could always play on a friends computer on your own acct, dl onto a library computer, dl vmware/parallels. I dont see why they should cater to mac players when there are literally tons of options. Furthermore, pc players arent automatically guaranteed no lag either and many have to gfx to prevent dcs. You shouldn't get the same things for less effort when pc players struggle with gfx and dc'ing just as much.
As a pc player with small storage, I feel your pain Pc players with "decent" hardware cant go boss without getting dc (sounds like wtf, but yeah) We have to use vmware which takes too much storage in order to boss >.< But as injeenious said, isnt fair to have them in the CS for MAC users, Hopefully, we can have a fix for this problem. I hate using vmware
I personally dc sometimes still from horntail even with vmware. Be it server or not, it doesnt mean I should be able to buy a htp when many others before me have failed to do so. I'm pretty sure new source is supposed to fix this however ^^
Posted this before I realized I could use parallels for free, and that it's really not as complicated as I thought... Figured it out and it works great With that in mind I completely agree with what you said - I just felt like mac users were being overlooked like they often are in the gaming world.. but that clearly isn't the case.
