Here's a previous reply to a similar post https://royals.ms/forum/threads/lukless-i-l-magician-gear.134059/ I think at lower levels you wont really have to worry much about gear as much, all you should really worry about is your wand you should grab your wands/staff in the sequence of: maple llama staff(lv34) > maple shine wand(lv64)/elemental wands 1~4(lv70)/maple pyrope wand(lv77) or maple pyrope staff(lv77) > elemental wands 5~8(lv130). the mid game options are really just depending on your preferences and your job. If you are an arch mage, you should get a elemental wand that suits your job; fire poison mages benefits from wands 1,2 and 5,6; whilst the ice lightning mages should use the ele wands 3,4 and 7,8. clerics/priests can really use any wands until they become a bishop. If you desperately want to get the gear early, you should save up some mesos until you hit lvl 50, and try to get a zak helm and a silver deputy star ; this should relatively allow you to reach the minimum luk requirement (around 25, which means you would need 16 luk from the helm and 5 luk from the dep star with the base 4 luk) to wear some low level luk equips like the doros/doroness, blue jewelery shoes and mystic shield. Though usually this may cost up to around 240M (100M from vip zak run and 100~140M from the silver deputy star). but remember that this is quire expensive; you are going to want to save up as much mesos for the later game equips, and you also need a mid game wand - you want this to be a decent one since you're going to use it until lv13o. I'd recommend looking up some of the bishop/archmage guides on the forums as well as the mapleroyals homepage library, it should help a lot with answering a lot of the questions you'll encounter as you play the game.
