Make FM a bot-free place again

Hi GMs and to whoever is reading this,
I would like to report a case of very highly likely suspected case spot-botting in FM Channel 1 Room2 around 14:20 Server time on the Mon, Apr 13.

Having been in Royals for almost 2 years already, i spend 90% of my time in FM merching and opening shops. I have always known Royals FM(at the very least since i dont spend time training LOL) to be a friendly and bot-free place(unlike other versions of Maple)

Today is the first time i have ever lost my spot to a camper in Royals.

Sure, spot camping or sniping could be fun, after all thats how people make mistakes and fastest fingers win and only the strongest merchants in FM survive. If i had lost my spot fair and square to a real camper in front of screen, i will have 0 complaints. Having played the old MapleStory since 2005, I am always confident of reopening shops faster than the rest(especially easy now since we can open multi client to close shop in this window and open in another window and they can never guess your timing)
BUT,
not if they start using illegal programmes.

Of course, I am sure GMs will have a way to find out the illegal program used by him there and then if you can go back to look at the records.

And on my part, the best i could do was to take SS of the aftermath- him on my spot, afking for a long while, chatlogs as proof from other Room2 merchants there and then who kindly volunteered to be vouchers for me(IGNs: Tskkk, Fluffybum, NotMatt, 0Lin0, Kopizai) some of the highest profile FM-ers around Rooms 1-6 all the time who are all willing to vouch for me when the incident took place saying he was there for 18hours up) and anotaher important witness (HSplsTY from Boba Guild itself, who said Caeg was afking and no chats in guild from him these while-refer to Evidence 4 (of course i understand this does not mean anything but i am trying my best to piece all evidences together and it is up to you and i trust that your team to do the necessary checks and make a sound judgement.)

The sequel of events are as follow:

1) He has been on my spot for at least 18hours (or possibly more), I had no choice but had to force close and catch him by surprise with less than an hour left on the clock before auto-closing (refer to image 2)
2) The whole of today(for my local time) since i woke up, i have noticed him on my spot and have been checking if he has visited my store- The number of times i see his IGN as a visitor in my shop the entire day: 1 time.
Of course, i did check for suspicious mules around who may potentially have camped in my store for more than 1minute so that he gets notified when i enter my shop to reset.
None, there was none. And the visitors in my shop were all less than 1min (it shows 0mins)
3) Prior to this, NotMatt also resetted his store right above my spot(also a door spot) but Caeg did not even try to go for his spot (probably afk and running his bot program)
4) This is my first encounter with Caeg and i have never met him before or offended anyone.
5) I waited for a good 13 hour thereabout before I brought my other character in another window to sit on my store and got ready the title for opening of shop approx. 1hour before i closed and acted like i afk-ed to prepare for "spot holding"
6) My shop was on the right side of Room2, right beside the portal, i changed channel from CC2 to CC1, immediately i closed from left side of the screen(out of view), and immediately clicked "OK" with my mouse(already pointed on it before i hit enter on this window) on my other store on other window to open shop just to temporary "hold my spot"
7) I LOST. From years of opening of merchant shops, i have never once lost a spot(a good mix of experience, speed, timing of resets and mindgames), and even more so here when we can have multi clients at one go.
8) He continued to AFKed for a good 30minutes thereabout (probably doesnt know he has already won the spot over from me)
8) The aforementioned witnesses and myself used smegas (about 4-5 smegas in total to call for GMs to catch him in the act while his illegal program was probably still running, but sadly i understand at that point in time our GMs could all be occupied/offline)
9) Room2 then became a crowded place and many came to take a look at what happened
10) I went on to take SS, and asked for vouchers who saw what happened and those who knew he was there afking for the longest time(pls refer to chatlogs in attached images)

Here I am, documenting this down not because I lost a spot and want it back(it will be gone after next SC anyway), but in all sincerity I hope GMs you guys can look into this because the moment such botters get away once and are back in FM, they will manifest and grow. I am sure every merchant/FMer here can agree that the FM WILL NOT be the same place anymore and it defeats the purpose of getting an attractive spot to boost our sales because we can NEVER beat botters anyway.

Please see the attached images and chatlogs with ~servertime (evidence 3) also captured in the images.
Understand that some write-ins may not go through due to the clarity of the images but i have checked through them, and sent in the clearest quality ones to show the what went on.

PSA: THIS HONESTLY IS THE CHANCE FOR US MERCH/FMERS/SHOP-OPENERS TO COME TGT AND UNITE, IT is US against botters. Please please please dont let this private server end up like some.. other...oldschool.. private.. servers. AHEM.

i know someone who lives at ch 1 fm 2.. that's his " real life home ".
just because he is playing for 36 hour in FM 2 does not automatically mean he is hacking.

I am not saying you are right or wrong about him hacking. but it is up to the GM to decide.

 

yeah you're right, i cant have hard evidence he is hacking or not this is up to GM to track there is no way we can find out. But based on my reaction time and the fact that when in the 18hours span he camped for me that i will close, and my reaction time of less than a second as i mentioned in my post, it is almost impossible i lose the spot

 

While I appreciate the time and effort you spent to write this thread, next time you should use screenshot taken directly from the game instead of taking photos by smartphone. Just press Scroll Lock, easier, faster and more concrete evidences.

P/S: Are you seeing what I'm seeing?

 

you can edit on paint but you cant edit smartphone photos. OK LOL thats just me finding an excuse for my mistake HAHA but thanks Hope i dont get botted anymore f3
