In update 50, when the crashes were first reworked, drks were given the ability to cancel weapon def up along with weapon attack up and magic attack up as well as getting a range increase. In update 54, total crash was introduced, removing the magic crash ability and reintroducing armor crash to heroes, with the old non-buffes range. My proposal is to even out this disparity by either giving heroes the additional utility and increased range or taking the ability to remove weapon def up from the drks power crash. (Also let bishops dispel weapon attack up again pls) ((Paladins also totally don't need total crash anymore since they were finally buffed to do re damage at all bosses but that's another discussion))
I agree giving hero the same range for crash, while DK needa zerk, they got HB, one of the most impt buffs, do more damage than heroes when fully buffed, can dispel atk up too. This small buff wouldn’t really change the class dynamic either. Disagree on the Total Crash though, it makes up for their dinosaur arms (acb) and pitiful mobbing dmg (350%) imo
Drks need to check on their HP all the time when bossing (it is not as easy as u think). HERO doesn’t have to do that, all they do is just one key bossing while watching netflix. HB doesn’t really standout nowadays, most of the players are washed. They are quite balance right now IMO.
Not going to lie, im a little shocked that u called me for this(usually u disagree with me in this kind of things) also a little bit flattered... Ok lets start... My problems with this are: 1. Sorry that im taking out this with you, but, WHY PEOPLE THINKS THAT WE HAVE LIMITED RESOURCES IN TERMSBOF DROPS/ABILITIES??? Theres maaany threads with "take out"x" drop/skill from this and put it in this mob/boss/job" why there have to be a "take out" in the 1st place?? It cannot be a "add this to heroes"? This is one of my threads hanging but the tittle is "nerfing is almost never the best choice" too long to explain here but no, this game may need some buffs, but no nerfs at all(yeah even nerfing nls is a bad idea) 2. Like i said i think, that pretty much all jobs beside nls need a little buff(with this i dont mean that everyone has to gain attack, or having an easier gamestyle, some classes need more buffs than others... dont get me wrong, is not that simple as giving more dmg to everyone, and things arent that unbalanced either,just a little bit) im not against of buffing heros, actually i haved an idea that i havent call it loud bcs it hurts the "nostalgia" and i know how the community thinks, my idea was make rage stackable, but disabling the"party buff" part, make it a self buff, at the end of the day, even being lvl 10, why i would want rage if i can have warrior elixirs? Same buff, no downside, theres no point on sharing rage rn. But if you are comparing heros with just the other warrior classes indeed there is a disparity.... On favor of heros... Heros rn are the "meta" warrior class, just because it need less resources to give their best. Resources: Mesos to fund How easy or hard is to play with it Attention needed Buffs needed to do their best dmg Etc(this aplies for all jobs btw) Why ppl preffer nls over sair if sairs do potentialy more dmg? Simple, sairs need much more resources to be better than an nl. And in rl u dont have all of those resources in every needed situation. Heros are kinda the same thing. Drks can potentialy be stronger than heroes but, Much more risk of dying Need ALL buffs for that St is waaaaaaaay cheaper than a ski(and wayy more common too) Dispel,overheal urself, use the wrong skill(DR) 1 Second of lag Fvcks you completely. And heros are.... Well... Stronger self buffed, stronger with just se, tankier, easier, cheaper, almost no risk of dying.... Dont try to play the "hb is one of the mort important skills" bcs ive maining a drk for almost 2 years and the only moments ive recruited for hb are, few zhelm buyers(most of them dont even needed hb for surviving just wanted to afk/watch netflix safely) 2 nls who were unwashed and needed hb for ht and maybe now for aun haven quest line, no, hb is less needed than si, is something that is kinda nice to have PERIOD. and dont make me start talking of pallys, wich yeah recently got buffed and everyone are sucking their Bs... On paper, bcs on reality theyre still just crash mules... U can see nessis dmg thread, on a element weak boss pallys are a stronger than drks and heros.... BY LITTLE.. common, they are a SINGLE TARGET class, how can anyone say that pallys are OP? they should be compared with Nls with that conditions not with the other warriors, why would i choose a pally for a boss run beside scarga as a single target atacker, if i can get a nl/bm for that? Their crash is fair bcs despite their big buff pally its still.... We can say that they passed from useless to "" decent""" (i still preffer a hero/drk for cwpq, zak, ht, neoc,etc, with multi target skills they are wayyy more powerful). To sumerize, heros are the best warrior class for shure and the only disparity is that they are much better than drks/pallys inside the "warrior meta", outside it, it would be nice that all warriors get buffed for example by A. Heroes. Make rage stackable disabling it as a party buff, nobody need rage B. Drks. Make hex atack buff stackable(and if possible dragon blood too, it may be too op but we will stay far from nls/sair on terms of dmg) buff the effects of hex def/magic defense C.pallys. Remove dmg cap at least for pallys. And make their def skills actually worth it..., they were designed as the "defensive warrior" and they are not even near that
As a drk. I second this But buffing beholder alone would be sufficient. Otherwise too OP. Not commenting on the hero/pally buff. Save it for them
I thought the same thing, on a 2nd tought, i calculated and put us a side with bms wich alrdy have the best buff in the game...but i would be happy with just beholder buff, o reowork would be a better word
Erm.. I am starting to see this trend of DK players getting so uptight when something constructive to Heroes is suggested, just my overall observation. We all know how hard Zerk is by now. If DK zerk feels inadequate and unrewarding please feedback on how to buff them, i’m all for buffing DK too! This feedback is not even about something controversial like buffing Brandish, it’s just.. a small range increase for Crash, the same as DK, while DK still gets to dispel Atk Up buff (there’s your balance). Heroes are so easy to play they can Netflix and be at the bottom of the dps but ya know what’s easier to play but at the top? A Night Lord. So I say, there’s no harm in giving your fellow warriors a little more love, this change won’t shake the meta or put Heroes above DK, it’s just a nice little QoL to a skill that seems over-nerfed imo.
we may be uptight, idk,the reason of my disagreement here is, the last commnts, why even mention darks and pally? he could say: buff this from heros,and if he wanted a comparision point he could say ."like drks crash" no need to notrhing taking out from anyone, pallys coment shows that he thinks heros are underpower in comparision, wich is not the case. and yeah nls are easier, if u haved a ton of billions to wash, and beside that...whats the point to even bring that out?
The point is that Heroes are not the only class “easy to play” and yet it is already the lowest single target dps and loses to DK when buffed (which means most of the time since there’s always SE), but whenever a constructive idea is mentioned I can already hear “but Muh Zerk!!” from a distance while not actually addressing the actual idea. I’d all down for a DK buff if necessary but let’s actually discuss the idea here - Does it affect you so much if the range is increased? Was Crash overly nerfed for Heroes and could use some mini buff?

only buff dk needs is +10k max hp. Let us wash to 40k and have 20k actual hp. Im locked out of toad, shaolin , neo tokyo and solo dojo past manon because you cant use %hp pots and either 1. overpot and lose dps until you kiss the boss, roar or sacrifice which makes you lose too much hp and get 1 shot the next attack or 2. underpot and get 1 shot next attack. Skill expression through potting properly is fine (ie, at zak and ht), just dont make it impossible (everywhere else).
That suggestion is actually not possible due to programming limits, that's why the amount was set as 30k Increasing Berzerk % is easier than doing that
Just git gud. Drks can theoretically zerk at any boss that deals less than 30k dmg by potting just before getting hit . I've progressed through Neo Tokyo with my Drk and none of the bosses dealt over 15k magic damage. Many Drks toad fine, you just need a quick reaction. You don't even need to manual pot at shaolin, just tank and press down 1 key. There are only a few end game characters that can actually solo past manon. There's nothing weird with solo Drks struggling past manon at dojo.
i feel bad bcs i was u a year ago, but...the answer is git gud, posible to zerk at all those locations, more hp isnt the answer....wait, u struggle at shao?, shao is easy pal, keep practicing
This is a little off topic but I might as well! In this dk vs hero thread you commented that 99% of the time you went bossing/zak you would white the Hero similar gear or slightly better than you. Is this with full buffs? I find it hard to believe you have SE & SI every boss run but that would mean that the data might not be so accurate if we take your claim at face value, and DK are actually stronger even with self-buffs. I know the data doesn’t take into account positioning and all that, but just wanted to confirm your stance. Also, since you are now also playing a Corsair, what are your thoughts about encouraging others to play DK given the effort needed to Zerk vs simply playing a Corsair instead since both are mechanically challenging classes but Corsair can outdamage NL in certain situations and seems to be more rewarding.
I made a si mule by the time my drk hit 135 and I always went bossing with it. Both classes excel in different situations. If I'm hunting area bosses, I'd prefer to do it on sair with higher single DPS. If I'm farming something (like crimson heart) or going HT, drk is my preference. You'd know by now that I prefer difficult and challenging gameplay over the boring repertoire of 1 button spam. I still recommend drk to everyone as it's my favorite class with its challenges and rewards. Both classes have a rewarding mechanism but corsair generally requires more effort than drk from my experience.
