Currently I'm leveling up a mage, and plan on using them to leech my BM and fuel it. I still got awhile but I have been interested in what I'm going to need. But what I'm not exactly sure on, what base INT should I be looking at if I go with a BM? I would like to be able to do endgame bosses like PB and possibly anything beyond. This includes base INT and equipped INT. Thanks for any help. =)
Post what kind of Int equips you have to work with right now, but the number is going to be around 250-300 with no MP washing. However, you'll need Hyper Body and Power Elixirs to survive .
Right now its pretty basic, 14int bathrobe, normal deputy, 8 int cape. But since I feel like I have decent equips on my mage at this point, I'm going to start grabbing some of the good INT equips.
End-game kind of differs depending on what kind of freedom you'd like; 11,500 - the lowest to consider yourself able to do any boss in the game, which is Pink Bean w/ Hyper Body. You'll need to wash about 300 times using free AP into HP, which requires 3600 additional MP. 14,500 - being able to tank Horntail heads (except for head B), Bigfoot and Bodyguard B. You'll need to wash about 450 times using free AP into HP, which requires 5400 additional MP. 18,750 - being able to have max HP with Hyper Body, do Pink Bean without Hyper Body, and be able to tank Anego snap. You'll need to wash about 650 times, which requires 8400 additional MP. 23,000 - being able to tank Horntail's Head B, Bodyguard A and Grandpa (The Boss) touch damage. You'll need to wash about 900 times, which requires 10800 additional MP. 30,000 - being able to have max HP without Hyper Body because why not. You'll need to wash about 1250 times, which requires 15000 additional MP. If you are going for either of the first two options, you should not need to hold base INT after level 140, so divide the number of MP you need by about 100 (since it will likely take you until at level level 40 to get enough base INT) and that's how much MP you need to get per level. Take that number and then multiply it by 10 (since you get 1 additional MP for every 10 INT you have when you level up) to get how much levelup INT you require. Subtract the amount of INT you have in gear (don't forget things like Maple Warrior and Zakum Helmets if you'll be purchasing them) and that will be the amount of base INT you'll require. If you are going for any option but the first, you will most likely benefit from MP washing, as it's more cost efficient to gain MP that way rather than hold absurd amounts of base INT. If you want advice on how to do that, pick your goal and figure out how much INT you'll have from your gear, else it gets very messy to explain.
