Hi! Just started not too long ago, and weird bug happened. I went to Forest of golem, used lightning, and then the game crashed. Which happens sometimes and its usually not too bad, but this time the shortcut for Mapleroyals erased itself. It lost its picture, and when I clicked it I got a popup saying that it wasn't there anymore. So I went to the Mapleroyals folder and it wasn't there either. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and it worked...until I turned my computer off and on. Then the file was gone again. I'm currently reinstalling Again now. I also just upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday so maybe that has something to do with it? Here's a picture of the popup notice.
Check your windows defender logs. Maybe it was set to scan on shutdown and picked up royals as a baddy.
Ah good call, it's saying that Win32/Mapstosteal is a trojan with severe alert level. After restoring that feature things seem to be working. Will report back if things turn south again. Thanks for the help!
