When will the custom client be ready? Other servers are already ahead of us and there is no need for gfx, yet we are still facing this issue 1 year 8months since New Source. When can we start bossing without frustration??

Jason can you answer to few of my questions real quick, since you using vmware its really strange that your client is crashing.. im using the same settings as hampa do and we both didnt face any disconnection issues..(unless its internet issues then yea..) Ok so: Which version of vmware you using? Have you tried to redownload/reinstall mapleroyals? Is that happening everytime you hting? (since i heard its started just recently, and recently you asked me questions about vmware so i assume you got vmware only recently though). So if its the thing, since you installed vmware i highly recommend reinstalling and redownloading the game, if its didnt work then delete the current vmware and install the one in tim's guide + his linked windows xp: click here Dont forget to put same settings as Tim did in his guide and under "Processors" > Virtualization engine > Preferred mode: Intel VT -x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI. Edit: btw no matter what dont update the vmware version, that's the point of redownloading if your vmware not same as this: http://prntscr.com/kdrh18 Its should be vmware 6.
Didn't crash, the internet connection has problem I think. Brought me back to login page. Crashing happens to me when I'm not using vmware (which is a hassle to use to begin with).
"Mapleroyals has stopped working" means the client crashed by the gfx issue or just not updated files(for example for the new verison new nx released so if you using the old files which the new nx not included in the files its will simply crash you cause its wont find them in the files but yea its not your problem here). If your internet crashed means (depends in its maximum around 5 seconds crash then its will get you to the login screen or if more then that its will just crash and show the server maintenance message), cant be internet crash get you the "maplestory.exe has stopped working" message (i also faced net crashes but never got this message during them). Edit: its also can be the download didnt process 100% as its should've been so you crash on some effect or something, i recommend trying to redownloading the game if its happening on that.
You guys are missing the point of this post. It's not that they are crashing from gfx when they shouldn't be, it's that we as a community shouldn't need to be gfxing all the damn time. It's a nice easy workaround for sure, but if the majority of the community has to do it every time they go to boss, then it's an issue that should be handled. Technically speaking, newer computers are the issue lol
iirc there were someone suggesting that they change the file format of .wz files which other servers allegedly did to fix the gfx issues and according to the last announcement they're and have already been working on a new file format for the .wz files so hopefully we will see that soon. Until then vmware has been working fine for me since old source never had any gfx issues using it, i get that it is annoying having to use vmware everytime you go on a boss run but at least you can go on boss runs without dcing or having to "gfx" every 5minutes.
I never disconnect with my dedicated mapleroyals PC! it was only £1,200 15 years ago new! Spoiler: I wish jk I have windows 10 and a nvidia so I have to vmware. also half my screenshots in vmware are totally black?? anyone know how to fix that bs
Not sure if i'm using a potato or if it's something i did to my settings. But at some point of time i stopped having problems with gfx/dc issues. It's weird but i never needed to gfx ever since.
The only person that really should be replying there are the staff and dev. Seems like our korean friends are pretty good with bug fixes (flamethrower and this)
It was funny because he linked a beginner/noobie WZ edit guide to staff assuming they have never done any wz edits .
