MapleRoyals.exe missing

    It doesn't happen often, like once a day (at random times) but reinstalling it every time is getting annoying. ~f3

    It might be similar to this issue https://royals.ms/forum/threads/mapleroyals-exe-getting-deleted.79880/ but unlike the OP of that thread, I've no way to record a video because I have no idea when it's going to happen. I also don't have any antivirus/defender enabled.

    The client also crashes occasionally but I guess that's normal. ~f8

    Reinstall and add your MapleRoyals folder to the exceptions list in your antivirus. Most likely Windows Defender js quarantining it.

    I don't have any antivirus installed and Windows Defender is disabled all the time.

    Then you have a gremlin in your computer.
    This happened to me a few times until I added the folder to the exceptions list.
    And if you have Windows 8 or newer, you have Windows Defender installed, ergo you have an antivirus installed.

    Added folder to exception list of Windows Defender, will see if it still happens.

    After you add it to the exception list and reinstall the game, run a full scan.

    Update on issue, file did not get deleted since that day. Weird...
