Hello there. When trying to use the installer (MapleRoyals Setup 3-10.exe) it begins extracting MapleRoyals.msi like normal, then the moment that is done I get this lovely message: So I decided to follow it to the temporary file to see what what happening and got this error as well: Just to note, I have ran it as administrator, have taken ownership of the installer and am currently running in safe mode with networking to make sure external programs are not interfering.
I'm not sure if you can run an MSI installer in safe mode due to the Windows Installer (at least I think that's its name) service not running in safe mode either. You will need to install this as a regular user with your antivirus disabled.
The screenshot is showing 32kb which is not the proper size. I would try downloading it again with your antivirus off.
that's the file size for the temporary file that was created. The installer I downloaded was 1.79GB (1,885,152KB.) I'll try re-downloading just to be sure though.
Okay, I found the problem. Turns out my hard drive doesn't seem to like installing things once it hits a certain threshold. So after cleaning my hard drive, re-installing my GPU drivers , having a rather irritating debate with my anti-virus (It doesn't seem to let me false-positive the client) and realising that my main 2 alias' are already taken.. I think I can finally play!
