I have been having lots of people ask me how I am playing MapleRoyals on a Nintendo Switch so I thought I would make a quick explanation. Basically my Nintendo Switch is 'hacked' and I am using a custom firmware(Atmosphere) on it. Using a custom FW allows you to install 3rd party apps developed by the 'hacking' community scene for the Switch. If you own a Switch and would like to know if yours is hackable you can use this site. Hacking the Nintendo Switch is fairly simple if you own an early version of the device since there is an hardware vulnerability which allows you to hack the device, later versions that vulnerability was fixed and hacking a Nintendo Switch is possible but not recommended to do it alone if inexperienced. If your Switch is hackable and you are interested in doing so visit this guide. It might look complicated but trust me when I say it takes no more then 30 minutes the first time, updating versions later if you want to will take no more then 5 minutes of work. If you decide to go through that you are more then welcome to post here and I will be more then happy to guide you through the process. So now that my Switch is hacked, how do I play MapleRoyals on it? There are 2 Homebrews people made, SkyNX and Moonlight-NX, both will allow you to stream any game from your PC to the Switch. (You will need a good enough Wifi connection). Moonlight-NX works better but is targeted only for Nvidia users, SkyNX will work for anyone. Both homebrews can be downloaded manually from the Github I linked above or HBStore that is installed once you hack your Switch. You will also need JoyToKey to map your Joycon keys to w/e your Maple keys are. After connecting your Switch with SkyNX or Moonlight-NX Joy2Key will detect the controller. Eventually it'll look like this; The better your Wifi connection speed is (5ghz fast connection) the higher the quality you can output, the less lag you'll feel. Basically with my connection everything is crystal clear and no lag at all. This is how I sell leech btw If anyone is interested and his Switch is NOT patched and can be hacked I am more then happy to help with all steps! Another option BTW is installing Linux on the Switch then running Royals on it. People have made a compatible working version but I prefer it this way because it is much easier.

So I did everything, do I have to inject Hetake everytime? Like if I just turn on my switch like normal the menu wont show up in albums

Oh yeah I figured it out. Just can’t get Moonlight to connect to my IP. But other than that it’s all good!
I got everything working! Hacked the switch no problem with the Jig and then got it to work with Moonlight, finally! Now the only issue I have is audio delay. Probably take some tinkering... But than you for the info and instructions!
