***NOTE***: You aren't actually playing mapleroyals on your tablet so don't worry about specs or anything! Ok so I found this out recently when I was looking through people emulating differnet games on their tablets to see how some of them run, and then ran into a video of someone playing GMS on their tablet and figured out how to do it. Theres some apps you'll need to download so make sure you do your research, cuz I know a lot of people aren't cool with the info some apps take from the devices, but I was ok with this one from what it said on the google play store. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Tablet (Android, I don't know if the app you have to get is available on the windows/iTunes app stores, but feel free to check and let me know!), SplashTop app available on the google play app store on your tablet (I'm guessing you could do this on your phone too but I haven't tested it yet and I don't plan to.) and then you will also need SplashTop downloaded on the computer you play mapleroyals on. Oh and you'll need a splashtop account that as far as I remember, asks you to make when you download it for your tablet. !!!What splashtop is!!! It's basically this app that lets you download it onto your tablet and then download it on your computer, and if theyre both on the same internet connection, you can see the screen from your computer on your tablet and control everything. And you don't have to freak out about someone hacking into your computer and taking over it because YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IF IT IS ON THE SAME WIFI CONNECTION like using the same internet from the same house. I do not recommend doing this at a starbucks or anywhere other than your house, no matter how unlikely it is that someone hacked into your splashtop account just to follow you to starbucks and hijack your computer! WHAT I RECCOMEND USING MAPLEROYALS ON YOUR TABLET FOR!!!: I've noticed that SplashTop has a delay from whats really going on (at least for me) and that, on top of lag, made me not want to bother trying to grind on it. but I use it for these and have no problem! ***I only recommend using this if for some reason you can't be on your computer like if you are out for a smoke, on the toilet, need a break from sitting in front of the computer after a boss, or any other reason why you don't wanna be at your computer. As convienent as this is, from my experience with it, it's way harder to control, theres a delay, It's annoying af to type on a tablet keyboard when its sideways, and its just annoying in general for anything other than whats listed below IMO*** 1.) Managing your FM shops 2.) Xfering items (please do this through trade and do not drop trade while using SplashTop, I'm not sure how long the delay is/can be so I'd hate to see someone lose their items so I'm just gonna not recommend drop trades while doing this so no one bitches at me. Do it at your own risk~) 3.) Farming stuff like Stoppers! (thanks @injeenious for letting me know this works and then whining about dieing so that I know to go with autopot on if I attempt this f3 ***If you don't have autopot and don't wanna bother getting it, you could be smart like jeen and put a macro for heal and baha up!) 4.) Talking, if youre good at typing on your tablet while its sideways. 5.) Possibly HSing and SE/SI muling at bosses but I haven't tried it so... Definitely go with autopot and be careful with the delay. There are probably a lot of other uses but this is all I've thought of so far. And this is just what you can do on royals, there is probably tons of things you could use this for on other games or just for other things on your computer. And I think it plays sound from the computer onto the tablet? I'm not sure Since I haven't needed to do this for a while and when I was dong it, I had the volume turned down on my tablet. But you could use it to watcha movie you have downloaded on your computer too that your tablet is having trouble buffering too I guess. So just keep an open mind and you can think of lots of stuff ^ ^ soooo 111STEP ONE111 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Download the SplashTop app on both your computer and your tablet that you wish to play mapleroyals on. 222STEP TWO222 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When it prompts you to make an account for SplashTop, do all the thingies for that and then move on to... 333STEP THREE333 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now you have to log onto your splashtop account on your computer and let it set it up so it can register the computer to that account. 444STEP FOUR444 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now log onto your SplashTop account on the tablet, after logging into it on your computer, and click the thingy for the computer you just registered to the account! 555STEP FIVE555 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If all went well, you will now see your computer screen and you can control your computer from your tablet! There are some different settings on how the mouse cursor works on the tablet and for other things, and there are quite a few so I'm not gonna get into them, but its not hard to figure out by just clicking on them or figuring out what they are by the icons picture. Also if you're not happy with controlling your character on the touch keyboard that comes with your tablet, you can always download a gamepad keyboard from the google playstore (it's basically a different keyboard than the default, but it looks like a gamepad. Has a D-pad, abc,xyz or whatever buttons and all that.) ***BTW you can open the keyboard while in the splashtop app. I think the icon looked like lil mini keyboard and you pressed it and it opened it. Was on the lower right or middleish lower right last time I was on there.*** I'm not gonna go into explaining how to set up a gamepad keyboard app because there are a lot of tablets how there and IDK how to do the keyboard settings on all of them. I barely figured out how to do it on mine -.- but you can easily google/youtube on how to do that I'm sure! Have fun and I hope this helps you catch up your shows or get other things done but still able to farm your stoppers/charms or keep track/reset your fm shops ^ ^
Heads up that if you want to use it from a spot not in your house, you have to pay 1.99 a month to use it. For example, to use it on my work wifi instead of home, I would need to pay for it.
