I just came back to the game today, and after a few minutes of playing the screen just goes black and when i minimize , i see that the screen got rotated sideways. i had to close the game go to setting rotate it back and only then i could play... i remember it happend when i played back then too...
You most likely pressed alt + ctrl and one of the arrowkeys at the same time. That rotates your screen on Windows.
