I have played mapleroyals since November 2015 and have always had installation issues, client issues, virus issues, the whole nine yards but this time really has me frustrated. First off id like to say since the last client update I have had to disable every single protection on my computer possible in order to play leaving nothing to save me from threats because everything told me that mapleroyals.exe was a trojian. and would not take "exception" for an answer. This morning I was able to open mapleroyals.exe just fine with no problems what-so-ever. When i returned home I encountered the fact the exe file would not run. I with someone from the shoutbox tried every possible solution. Tried Opening the Client Several (probably more than i should have) Times Uninstalled Program (about five times) Re-Installed Program (about five times) Checked / Turned Off Windows Firewall Reset Router / Connection Flushed DNS Disabled Loopback Adapter Refreshed Adapter Connection to Router Checked / Turned off ALL Antivirus Programs Added Mapleroyals Entire Folder to Exceptions (just in case) Created My User As An Admin Tried Opening the Client as Admin Disabled any other Network Connections I had saved Cleaned Registry Disabled Microsoft Essentials Disabled Microsoft Anti-Malware Restarted Computer Several Times (during this process) Disabled Connection with Primary WIFI / Connected with Password Changed Compatibility Mode with EVERY SINGLE Option Available and Tried to Open File After Each Setting Change Turned Off Windows Updates If you can think of anything else I could possibly do please comment below because I am completely out of ideas. I just can't believe that this game has given me this much trouble just to play. I have teamviewer if anyone can suggest or think they can figure it out as well. Just PM me please.
Earlier you mentioned a server check error. Is that still the case? If so I had that exact issue a few moments ago when I tried to open the client and I found that if I opened Task Manager then for some reason a bunch of MapleRoyals.exes were running in the background. So I closed all of the running MapleRoyals programs, closed Task Manager, and tried to run the program again and it worked. Not saying this'll guaranteed work for you but it worked for me.
