hello i would like to know if some of you tried maplestory 2 I was not able to test the alpha version of korea (2015) but i was able to try the 2 betas of maplestory 2 global for my part nexon disappointed me a lot and made me invest my time in a game that was not futuristic at all or that would replace maplestory (traditional) nexon only had eyes for the United States The rest did not exit maplestory 2 forum was full of insults from cm kirios Believe it or not nexon translated from english to portuguese as you will see all south america are portuguese and don't speak spanish (bravo nexon) The worst of all is the connectivity of their servers was very bad No matter in which region you connected you were always lagger Never again nexon

I actually played MapleStory 2 from beta until it shut down and actually had a lot of fun! From what I could tell, it was shut down because it wasn't the same cash cow that MapleStory had become and was actually cannibalizing their own playerbase.
maplestory 2 for me was another thing that proved to me why they would never release a true, better sequel to this game. the graphics on maplestory 2 looked so weird and hard to get used to. at the beginning i thought its like these normal 3d games with a top-down view, but its not. the game was interesting at the beginning but quickly i have realized its just not worth the time or effort. not sure why they closed it, but i havent missed anything super interesting anyways.
I really enjoyed MS2. It was sad to see it shut down Maybe it would've done better if it was marketed as a completely new game rather than a sequel? I'd definitely love to see another game like this in the future.
