Hello. This is quite odd, but let me explain what issue I'm having. During the past few days I noticed that after 1 minute everyone stops moving and it lags horribly for at least 20 seconds, I am still able to move but unable to do anything else. After some time my chat gets spammed from that time of me being on this sort of pause. It also happens in places that aren't populated. I am literally unable to play, I have tried resetting my router for now. Also, if I stay @ at FM for example, after some time it disconnects - screen turns black, no error message whatsoever. Not sure if the two problems are linked. Any help I can get?
Either stick through the lag or do something else until people start to see some improvement. Client issues aren't something you're able to control personally. Everyone is affected by the lag.
Normally, I'd try to hang on for like a couple of minutes to 15 mins, depending on the power of the lag.. If it does not improve, I'd log off and find something else to do besides MapleRoyal.. Then, I'd come back sometime later and see if there is improvement.. (Usually by 30 mins, it won't be DC laggy anymore) It's no point wasting time trying not to DC or complaining about the lag.. Might as well make your time count by doing something else irl
Unless what you are talking about is server sided lag, it would be caused by your computer or your network. For computers I generally like to blame antivirus programs as the most likely cause.
