hi IGN : GoldMage Problem : Mastery Book faild bug Details I post it again because u closed my threat .... so its happend to me in update 54 when the mastery books was still bugged . i tryed to cotact one of you at the same moment but got no answer so i ask for help with that I bought a Mastery Book on fm Genesis 20 and after i used it people told me that mystery books are bugged . I'd like to get a refund its cost me 800M ... or mastery book ... thx for your work .
I'm pretty sure the only bug in update 54 was with skill books, not mastery books. Books that were supposed to grant skills and have a 100% success rate unusually failed during that time. If I'm not mistaken, normal mastery books like your Genesis 20 were working fine. Sorry about your loss though.
It's quite easy to prove that a book with 0% fail rate is bugged, but how does one prove that one with 30% fail rate is actually bugged? By using 10, 100, 1000 of them? I'm afraid the poster above is right - nobody else (that I know of) have reported a bug with these books. Most likely you were just having bad luck at the time. The only comforting words I have for you is this: I remember a time when bishops payed 1.3 or even up to 1.5B for these books. You are playing in a time where failing a book doesn't hurt quite as much as it has done for some in the past. But still, I'm sorry for your loss.
