Dear Heidi, Thank you for your response. Are you referring to my previous banned accounts? I am being honest that I did double vote for my previous accounts created many years ago. However, please kindly allow me to elaborate my situation. I created two accounts around 2020 or 2021 (can't remember), and joined this server for a couple of months. I did not carefully read the rules (which I admit was my fault) and double voted for a period of time. I wasn't got banned by then so I was not aware of that rule since then. After that, I quitted MapleRoyals on the same year without knowing I broke rules. When I decided to come back to MapleRoyals around 2 months ago, I downloaded MapleRoyals but did not log in for a while because I was busy in works. However, I (double) voted for this game before I came back for genuine love and good memories for MapleRoyals game and community. When I logged into my first account, it was successfully after a standard recovery process; However, when I tried to log in my second account, I forgot the PIC so cannot log in. Then I tried to recover the second account on the Forum. After I filled out the necessary information, a GM asked if I got other accounts, etc. Since I still did not realise double voting was a rule violation, I answered honestly. Then I got banned, and that was when I first realised I violated the rule many years ago. I did not appeal anything because I think I need to take the punishment and learn the lesson. I do not regret I had been honest and got banned because I know I made the mistake and appreciate the strict rules of this server which made it long-lasting and stay on the top of all servers. Then I created the new accounts, and think I can re-start the journey and make it right, throughout which I never double voted again. I am not trying to find any excuse for my fault. However, it would be much appreciated if my situation can be re-considered since I lost my previous accounts already and rectified in my new journeys. I do miss my guild and the friendly buddies on the list. I have been friendly to other players as well if you can ask my friends in game. Thus even I made a mistake on previous accounts, I think I still made some, even tiny, contributions to the community. Like most people, I make mistakes in life, and in game, but I learn from them and do hope I can be given a chance after I have shown my regret and sincerity by only voting once per day in the new journey. Also, I am happy to donate to the game if I can be given a chance as well - not because I made a mistake and want to beg mercy, but I got the idea long ago but did not have time to research how to do that. I would appreciate your recognition on my attitude. However, if a permanent ban is still your decision, I will fully respect that. Yours sincerely, MXD
Unfortunately, this is not allowed, as clearly started in our ToS. Bans apply to you, the person, not accounts. Once you have been permanently banned, you are only allowed to resume playing here if you successfully appeal your ban, which you have not done. You will remain permanently banned for major vote abuse, and ban evasion.
Thanks for your attention as well as the patience, Heidi. I feel sorry and sad, but respect the rule. Can you kindly do me a favour? Tell the Umbo Guild leader Alfa that MXD feels ashamed of being banned because of double voting on previous accounts many years ago, and thought he could restart the journey and be good. MXD appreciates Alfa and other guildies’ including but not limited to Kitten, Fong, MRAX, Tiny Tooth support and friendship, and felt sorry for not having a chance to prperly say goodbye. MXD wish the Umbo Guild happiness and peace. In addition, I do appreciate the memories MapleRoyals bringing to me, and I wish MapleRoyals prosperity and a long-lasting server!
Hi Heidi, One last question: Since the Game Rule says voting abuse could be subject to a 14-day ban, or permanent ban subject to GM's discretion. Any chance my rectifications in the new journey can be taken into consideration for you to change the permanent ban into a 14-day ban instead? Sorry if I am wasting your time. Our admins have clear criteria that they follow to determine whether a vote abuse offence is considered minor (14 day ban) or major (permanent ban). Unfortunately, in your case, they have already determined that your vote abuse offence was major.
